COOKING WITH FIRE, SOUTH TEXAS STYLE Carriqui celebrates the South Texas tradition of drawing flavor from fire. Inspired by the flight path of our namesake bird, our menus feature regional favorites from the Rio Grande Valley, Texas coast, and the Hill Country. Nearly every dish is touched by the glowing embers of our custom-forged pits, smoker, or grill, all fueled by native wood. Along with housemade tortillas, cold margaritas, and warm hospitality, each meal is an opportunity to experience the vibrant food and spirit of our South Texas culture.

We absolutely love Carriqui. It is rare when you are able to find a restaurant where everything you try is DELICIOUS. It has become one of our favorite spots with its beautiful indoor and outdoor seating area, the attentiveness of both the wait staff and owners is top tier, and it’s the perfect setting for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Thank you to all of the staff at Carriqui who make every experience memorable.

My server, Joe, was exceptional! She went above and beyond to ensure top-notch service, even taking the initiative to ask about my allergies and making sure everything was safe for me to enjoy. Whenever I'm in San Antonio for work, I always make it a point to return to Carriqui because of experiences like this and the amazing food.

Isaac was a fabulous server. Very knowledgeable and helped us make decisions on which dishes to try based on what we were looking for and liked. Ambiance is always enjoyable and definitely recommend the ceviche.

We came in on a Tuesday night and they have 50% off Margarita night. The margaritas were made they way they are supposed to be made with fresh lime juice and they were dellicious. Isaac our bartender was very knowledgeable about the tequilas and was a very nice and attentive server. The nachos with the Burnt Ends are wonderful. We had a great time: Thank you, Isaac!
