The award winning Carriages restaurant is uniquely located within the allpay ltd campus in Whitestone Business Park, Hereford, and has been described as "City chic in rural Hereford".

Carriages was inspired by founder Tony Killeen's passion for trains and the quirky setting of the restaurant, which overlooks the old Whitestone railway station.

You can enjoy views of the rolling hills from the floor to ceiling windows in the top floor restaurant; dine inside or alfresco, on the spacious balcony, or walk the landscaped grounds surrounding the Four Seasons lake - which transforms into a maze of secret gardens, impressively lit up at night.

Carriages is open Friday and Saturday evenings.

Due to the nature of the restaurant, any children dining must be over 12 years old and accompanied by an adult.

We had a wonderful evening. It was my husband’s birthday and two friends joined us. Every dish was absolutely Devine. I don’t think any of us left anything on our plates. The service was excellent. The two young ladies were friendly and tentative without being over baring. Thank you to those two ladies, We appreciated the way the tables were well spaced out so we weren’t overhearing other conversations. The background music not too loud and the whole ambiance was just perfect. Good to know we have at least one restaurant in Hereford that have it just right. Thank you Carriages for a lovely evening. We will certainly be back. We all wish you were open more evenings. Any chance of that over Christmas or New Year?🤞

We had a lovely evening celebrating my partner’s birthday with friends who had not been to Carriages before. They absolutely loved it and i know if they thought otherwise they would have told me. Absolutely seamless courtesy and service but without any pretension. A very ambient and comfortable environment, with amazing food. We had such a lovely evening.

We tend to select good quality restaurants. Our experience at Carriages proved to be excellent - the food was outstanding, so much so that we would have liked more vegetables! Our welcome and the general attention received was greatly appreciated. This was our first visit and will not be our last - and next time it will be with close friends. Carriages has to be congratulated.

Wanted to try this place for a while, wasn't sure about being located on a business park but that was not an issue as nicely landscaped. The quality of food, service and general ambience were very good overall. However, the Michelin starred prices cannot be justified - £24 for a vegetable gratin which comprised a few tastefully arranged root vegetables with not a lot else is unjustified. The wine waiter, although knowledgeable, was condescending saying our wine selection was "not the best they had but inoffensive". If you want a small main course, well cooked and presented, but highly overpriced then this is the place for you.
