    Food was delicious but service was very slow and took way too long. Quality of food was excellent quantity on the other hand let a little to be desired. No water refill throughout the dinner

    Carpe Raci has a cool vibe - or it seems that that is what they are attempting. We sat upstairs and the vibe was a bit tainted with the bright lighting. Our server was a bit frazzled but he may have been new to the restaurant. He was very nice but seemed disorganized and tense. When we first sat down, he informed us to order all our food at once or we would be waiting 45-60 minutes for it. Seemed an odd greeting/request. We had to waive him to our table to take our drink orders - which seemed a bit odd, to have to ask him to take our drink orders. Our meals were good - food delicious, but two of us ordered the halibut and the food was cool in temperature. While the fish was warm, the puree and vegetables that accompanied it were barely room temp. It was quite a while from when our server delivered our food to him asking how it was. By that time, the two of us who ordered the halibut had eaten about 1/2 of it even though the temp was off. He offered to get us something different, and we appreciated that but we declined as we would have been sitting there without meals while the rest of our party enjoyed their dinners. I'll admit, it is an annoyance of mine to send my meal back because something is not right and to sit there without a meal while others eat; given the frazzled nature of the restaurant the night we were there, I didn't want to chance sitting and eating while others in my party had finished their meals. Overall, the restaurant was fine. Not sure any of us will be excited to return any time soon though.

    The food is really delicious. However, the service is horribly slow. We arrived 5 minutes before our 7pm reservation. Once seated, we waited at least 10 minutes to give our drink order - then 20 minutes more for the drinks to arrive at around 7:30. We ordered our food when the drinks arrived and it arrived around 8:15. Good thing we weren't in a hurry. The table next to us left without placing an order.

    The food was the most flavorable and well-prepared food I have had in a long time! The smaller beautiful space upstairs make it more intimate and easier to converse.

    Great food. Wonderful service. A bit pricey and we’re out of the wine and dessert we wanted but would still go back. More of a quiet date night vibe than girls night out
