The food was delicious! We loved the cauliflower soup and the halibut and gnocchi. And Christos provided excellent service.

Food was good and server was attentive. However we had some complaints: Dining room upstairs meant climbing two flights of steps which was not easy for seniors Metal chairs very uncomfortable Oil dipping sauce came with good bread however, I had to reach over to dip. Should be served with a spoon to put on individual’s plate Grated cheese for entrees was not offered Not really handicapped accessible. I was told those with disabilities could dine downstairs. I asked about wheelchairs and was told there was a lift in back but unsure how that would work and what door they would enter. The only door I saw back there was dirty looking. A bit overpriced I wish them well but we probably won’t return.

Thank you for the review! Unfortunately, we cannot put in an elevator as it is the oldest building in Brecksville and considered to be a historic building landmark. We did install an elevator lift in the front parking lot for those that need wheelchair access. When making a reservation, you can request downstairs for wheelchair access. The door is in between the wine wall on the main floor. It is used often by customers. Cheers.

The food was delicious! The spaghetti puttanesca and jumbo shrimp scampi did not disappoint. Our server Joey was excellent, he even offered us gluten free bread when he found out one of us had celiac. A wonderful experience.

this was a great tuesday evening dinner out. service was great, personalized. been several times before and can see the space changing (updated) in a great way. will be back.

Very nice experience dining for the first time at Carpe Raci. Calamari was light and fresh, Shrimp Scampi was a great entree choice and the Gin Martini was perfect. Excellent service from Lexi - she offered great recommendations and was very attentive.

I decided to give Carpe Raci another try but unfortunately I did not have a better experience. As my friend was taking off her coat the server asked what she wanted to drink - she did not even get a chance to look at the drink menu. The server then returned a minute later and I tried to stall so that my friend could get a chance to look at the wine list. Then we couldn't chat because again the server was there asking for our food choice and we had not yet even gotten our wine. We asked what were good choices and the server provided no guidance. I expect that at lower priced restaurants, but if you are charging $30+ an entree your servers better be well versed with your menu. We placed our order. I was missing a part of my order when the meals were delivered. The server said I never ordered it - oh yes I did. The correct response by the server should have been - I am sorry, I will get that in immediately. I did eventually get my side and an apology from the host, but never from the server. We received no bread and butter. No Parmesan, no cracked pepper, etc. The dinner entrees were very good, but I can get a great Italian meal with great service at other restaurants.

Food was very good. A glitch was having to ask for some bread. Bread arrived after meal. Great bread but late in arrival.

Amazing dinner. Excellent service. The food was top-notch. Felt it was a little bit more expensive than other places serving similar. But I never mind paying for good food and this was that.

Our experience at Carpe Raci was amazing. The atmosphere, food and personal interaction by both the manager and the Head Chef-Jeff, was above & beyond what most restaurants deliver. A very lively place, but not too loud to hear each other speak across the table. The wine selection was very diverse, offering a large variety of interesting choices and great pricing. Did I mention the full bar, for those who may not want wine? The food is so tasty and creative, we will definitely be back for more. I highly recommend Carpe Raci to everyone!!!
