Carousel Fun Kitchen is a cocktail bar providing fun small plates on selected nights accompanied by our selection of experimental and classic cocktails. As night falls, the inviting kitchen transforms into vibrant playground with DJs & live entertainment.

Please note: Carousel Fun Kitchen is a 18+ venue.
Located on Walcott street we invite you to join us in our ambient lounge or garden terrace.

I can only give the lowest possible rating due to my booking being accepted (for a birthday treat) and upon arrival, they were closed (albeit with a sign on the door with the opening times saying they'd be open!). I wasn't contacted to cancel the booking. They didn't answer their phones. They haven't responded since and I was left without a table reservation for the afternoon of my sisters birthday. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to eating here. Either their opening times need updating or the online booking system, so this doesn't happen again.

Very frustrated. Booked a table for 7pm on a Saturday for dinner. Arrived at the restaurant to be told that they weren’t doing any food! The waitress said they are doing a big menu refurb and the kitchen will reopen in a couple of weeks/months. No one had informed us so we were now stuck at 7pm on a very busy Saturday in Bath with no dinner reservation. Very poor service.

I've put poor on everything because we showed for our booking and the venue was closed!! This has certainly never happened to any of us before, we couldn't believe it. A neighbour told us it had been shut all weekend.. would have been nice to know they'd closed down so we could have booked somewhere else.

Need to work on the basics! Liked the feel of the place, quite funky, modern atmosphere and good staff. Food is a problem - Lamb chops were not lamb chops (steaks I would guess), sirloin steaks were overcooked, one sent back, and they insist on using slate plates - not much good with juicy food, both my wife and son had juices dripped on their trousers while serving. To be fair, they gave us a couple of rounds of drinks for free, but you just don’t need to get those things wrong.

We didn’t actually stay to eat. It wasn’t really our vibe. Extremely loud music, more of a bar scene than an eatery. Shame as the food online looked nice.

Hi Megan We are sorry you didn't stay to dine with us. On Saturdays our venue becomes a social dining space in which guest dine and dance hence the music. we would love to accommodate you for meal during the week where the atmosphere is more relaxed with background music.

New restaurant in Bath, really good atmosphere and the service and food are top notch. Will definitely go again when next in the area.

We were pleasantly surprised by this new venue in the heart of town. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient, service was excellent. The menu is small but sampled different dishes across the menu which were all exceptional in quality and flavour. We enjoyed several cocktails which were delicious. A large party arrived mid way through our meal who were not considerate of others around however despite their rudeness we will definitely return as is an amazing find and definitely recommend.
