Lovely as usual. Sitting outside is very loud but the quality of weather was first class. Food is never disappointing, oysters to meal prep, it’s always top shelf

Excellent food and fantastic service. Espresso martini was great. Shrimp and grits were the best I’ve had.

I have Celiac’s disease so I read reviews about restaurants in order to make sure I can eat before I go…the Google reviews seemed to imply or suggest that this was a GF accommodating restaurant. I’m my opinion, a gf accommodating restaurant has a dedicated fryer for fries and possibly even gf bread or pasta as an option. They do not have a dedicated fryer for the fries, and they use flour in the rue for their sauces and soup. No gf bread or pasta was available…Therefore, if you want to substitute sides, your options are limited to vegetables or salad. The service was great, and our server was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and gluten in general…however, the options were limited and not fantastic… not her fault at all! My husband (not gf free) was excited about the oysters until we found out they were all raw…which would be fine in winter…but in August, that’s a hard pass…😬 We had cocktails and they were great! The general atmosphere and vibe was cool.

The waiter (which I forget his name) was very pleasant (7/28 evening). He offered suggestions, and checked in on us at a good pace. The food and mixed drinks were great. The recommended oysters were spot on. Look forward to coming here again. And highly recommend to others.

Crap hush puppies were delicious. Fish and chips and shrimp and grits were a favorite. Lobster shrimp roll was overwhelmed with bread but tasty.

The name says it all, the oysters were the main event. Had 3 of oysters (forgot their names lol) 1,2,3,5 and they were all fantastic. Number 5 was the favorite of my fiancé and myself. Also ordered the burnt ends (very good, with a fantastic sweetness), the shrimp and lobster roll (much more shrimp than lobster than expected), and the shrimp and grits which was very hearty and seasoned very well. Finished it off with the banana cream pie and the gooey something cake. Our server Jessica, was absolutely incredible, we’ll go back for her and the oysters hands down. Thank you for taking such good care of us this evening!
