Had very high hopes for this place. Perhaps we went on an off night, but our experience was just "ok". The rigatoni alla vodka was burnt, and the papardelle bolognese had next to no meat in it. Service was ok. Drinks and apps were great. I'll check it out again another time, and hope for a better experience.

Great spot in downtown Hamilton. When we first sat down my husband's chair was broken and he had to sit a few before we found one that wasn't broken. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was good, the pasta was very fresh. We sat next to the wood burning pizza oven so it was a little warm but manageable. Did not have a pizza but would definitely come back to try that next!

Had a pleasant lunch with a very personable server. Portion size for our salad/caprese sandwich was very generous. Tiramisu was delicious!

This is our second time visiting Caro and it wasn't as good as the first. The server had little enthusiasm. Our table was next to the street where a garage door/window was open. We kept getting wafts of weed and asked for it to be closed. The Caro bread, which is supposed to come on a country loaf, came on pizza dough and wasnt nearly as tasty especially since ine of ordered pizza for dinner. We won't be back which is unfortunate. We loved it the first time.

We had a confirmed reservation, but arrived at the restaurant to find the door open, lights on, but no one at the front desk - in fact, no one in the kitchen or the restaurant. Buckets and tools all over the floor.... If there was an emergency, they should have communicated with the reserved guests to let them know.

Good spot. Difficult to find parking. Also bit difficult to find the sign. Otherwise food and atmosphere was great!

Went for Mother's Day with our two young daughters. I was delighted to see upon entering that a high chair was already set up at the table - my comments on the booking had been reviewed! Our waitress was very good, instinctively placing hot plates out of reach of little hands initially, and also being very friendly with our girls. The food was excellent. We had pizzas which were perfectly cooked and very tasty. As we were leaving, we were given the opportunity to select a plant to celebrate the occasion. Just as per our previous visits, the experience was excellent. We will be back!
