Le Carnivore est le premier steakhouse de Milwaukee et l'un des plus acclamés lorsqu'on parle de fine cuisine dans le Wisconsin. Ce restaurant est toujours en tête de liste des « Best Of ». Il a été reconnu pour la variété de ses goûts culinaires, entre autre pour sa coupe de boeuf alléchante et ses filets désossés. Le menu de biftecks propose un boeuf exquis, humide et vieilli à point de catégorie USDA, une distinction accordée à moins de 2% de tous les boeufs américains. On y retrouve également la viande tant convoitée, le « Wagyu », importée du Japon. On propose aussi une carte des vins avec plus de 400 sélections. Vous trouverez toujours la bouteille parfaite qui se marie bien avec votre repas. Ce ne sera pas seulement le repas que vous allez aimer au Carnivore, c'est l'expérience entière, c'est-à-dire le service, la musique, le menu et plus encore. Great night at Carnevor! Steaks were done to perfection, and service was impeccable. Michael, our server, was very friendly and knowledgeable and timed our courses just right. The twice baked mini-potatoes were awesome, as was the chocolate mousse cake dessert! The entire staff at Carnevor know how to treat their customers to a special evening.

I took my girlfriend out for Valentine’s Day during the blizzard and they were more than generous enough to extend my reservation due to me being 15 minutes late. We both had the A5 Waygu Filet and it was the most amazing piece of meat I’ve ever had in my life. The ambience is amazing and they were kind enough to take some photos of us, even though it was almost midnight and they were closed. Excellent experience I would definitely recommend.

Some of the best food I have had in Milwaukee, the ambiance and service was also incredible. Buffer in a little extra time for parking if you are driving as its downtown in a busy area, food is more on the expensive side for the area, but worth it for the experience and food.

Superb food quality. Wagyu was same quality we got when we visited Japan. Very attentive and caring host. Best in Midwest.

I ordered a filet medium rare oscar style. The meat was undercooked and the crab smelled and tasted terrible. There was a very small amount of it on the steak, maybe a tablespoon and very little sauce. They admitted that it was a bad cut of meat and offered to replace it. Everyone had nearly finished eating and I asked them to comp my meal. They charged us full price for the steak. The brussel sprouts were just okay. I was disappointed overall as this was my first time there and I’d heard very good things.

Service was AMAZING! The waiter saw my wife picking at her steak and came back, after asking how everything was, and asked her to be honest with him, then had them regrill a new one for her, free of charge. They were otherwise very pleasant but that moment stood out. Great food, we will be back
