Carnegie Diner & Café offers limited reservations 30% only and 70% walk in. We are brand new and we like to accommodate all of you. Carnegie Diner features an extensive all-day breakfast menu in addition to serving a wide selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, steaks, fresh fish, pastas, desserts and more. All day breakfast items include a Classic Benedict with optional addition of lobster, Avocado Toast, a BLT Quinoa Bowl with chopped bacon and poached eggs, Steak and Eggs, and three eggs any style served with hash browns and bread. There are a dozen types of pancakes, decadent waffles and French Toast offered. The restaurant also features a full page of plant-based options. Lunch and dinner entrees include rib-eye steak, Atlantic salmon, fish n’ chips, shrimp spaghetti and spaghetti carbonara. Desserts include a decadent 24-layer chocolate cake, pies, cupcakes and over-the-top milkshakes to satisfy your sweet tooth.

We went for brunch. My daughter ordered the eggs Benedict and it looked like it had been made and then placed under a warmer, which you can’t do with poached eggs because they are supposed to be runny. These were fully cooked. When I tried to tell my waitress, she said that’s how they are done, but it’s not. The edges of the English muffin and ham were also dried out so it was obvious they had been left warming too long. My daughter ended up cutting up the egg and ham and mixing it in with her has browns which is the only way to make them edible.

Food was fine, nothing spectacular. It’s a fun place to eat, loud and energetic. Service is great. Portions are huge, shareable. Expensive.

A very average experience. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait a little while to be seated while we watched walk-in parties receive a table first instead. The menu offerings are impressive however the breakfast food doesn’t taste better than IHOP. The interior is trendy, but the noise level is pretty loud.

The food was ok, but nothing special, especially when you consider the price and crazy parking situation, although that’s not the restaurant’s fault. The $19 chicken BLT had the thinnest fried chicken patty ever. The pastrami and corn beef sandwich tasted good, but it is basically deli meat, and for $23, again, nothing special. And the pancakes were dry. Not worth the hype.

6 older women seated at a booth when a table with walker access was requested on open table reservation. Food was good but server delivered in correct order.

The place is a busy brunch spot. We weren’t seated until 20 minutes after our reservation. It may be this way just on the weekend. Other than that. Delicious all day breakfast on a Sunday

1st time there for breakfast today. The server was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! The latte was ok but the food and service made up for that! We will definitely be back!!!

As a born and raised New Yorker, this restaurant was a far cry from the original. The service was good but the chili was cold and the fried mozzarella came from a box. The pastrami did not even reach the edges of the rye bread. The menu depicts large juicy sandwiches - which could not be found at this restaurant. Not worth the trip.

We waited for 10 minutes for a waiter to greet us, even though we were in the middle of the seating area. Several waiters walked past and glanced at us and said nothing. Then when a waiter finally took our order, he immediately greeted the people who came in after us once they sat down. And our waiter only checked up on us once, while he and other waiters checked up on the tables around us multiple times and were more friendlier with those tables. He also did not say anything friendly to us after we handed him the check. The whole entire experience made me and my family uncomfortable and overshadowed the food. The food was good, but I will not be going back. Worst service I’ve ever experienced.
