    We had a good lunch prior to seeing our show. The burgers & fries were good. The fish & chips disappointing. Soggy batter crust. The staff very friendly & there were enough servers, yeah! At lunchtime, the diner was hopping.

    The Carnegie Diner was great! The food was good and they had a wide variety of options. The drinks were refreshing in the sweltering heat. Im not sure if their AC was on or broken but it was hot in the restaurant, so much so I was sweating. They also cram a lot of people in so while there was personal space all the extra bodies made it even hotter.

    It was way too hot in the place. The Greek Salad was served with no lettuce. I’ve notice this is common with some Greek Salads, but it should be stated as such on the menu or advised by the waiter as most Greek Salads I’ve had includes lettuce. The Carbonara was bland, very little flavor. My wife’s omelet was browned despite her telling the waiter no brown on the omelet. Her hashbrowns were soggy and not crisp. The sauce on my son’s pasta tasted straight out of a jar. There are way too many fabulous Italian places in NYC to waste you time on this place. As a diner, they should just stick to diner food.

    The menu was varied and perfect for dining with kids and people dietary restrictions. Staff was friendly, but as the restaurant got busier the service declined. The food was pricey by normal standards but consistent with area restaurants.

    Went for a quick meal before a matinee and were sadly disappointed. Staff was courteous and efficient but the food was subpar at best. $25 for a barely edible burger! Skip this and find another option.

    Great choice for a quick lunch or dinner in the neighborhood. The food is good and the menu is very extensive so everyone can be happy with their meal. Service can get overly harried at lunch time but generally is efficient.
