Carne Mare is an Italian chophouse by Chef Andrew Carmellini offering prime cuts of steaks, fine seafood, and Italian specialties. The menu by Chef Carmellini and Chef della Cucina Emma Glasrud begins with fine seafood, cocktails, oysters, traditional antipasti, salads and carpaccio. Entrées include housemade pastas, seafood and, of course, the main attraction: prime-aged beef, wagyu and prime rib, served with a selection of steakhouse contorni.

For Parties of 8 or more, we offer a five-course menu for $180 per guest. It's a wonderful way to taste our most popular and seasonal dishes. Pricing is exclusive of beverage, tax, and gratuity. Whether specified beforehand or upon arrival for your reservation, we take allergies and dietary restrictions into consideration. Please keep in mind that the menu below is simply an example and your menu will be finalized the day of your reservation.
Thanksgiving Prix Fixe Menu 2024

On Thanksgiving, Carne Mare will serve a three-course prix fixe menu from 1pm to 8pm. Guests will select their choice of appetizer, entree and dessert, while the side dishes are served family style. The menu is $125 per person, $40 for children under 10, excluding beverage, tax, and gratuity.

We visited Carne Mare for our anniversary dinner recently and had a wonderful time. The ambiance is great, with each table having its own space. The lights were dim but the table lights added more light. The bathrooms are all individual washrooms so you didn’t have to feel cramped in a stall. Food wise, the wagyu was chewier than the normal wagyu we were used to. After asking for a different item as a sub, they obliged and the pasta was delicious! Great Parmesan foam on top, made it stand out. Bread is great, and our servers made our night special with a dessert. Overall, great, I will say it is pricey and the twice baked potato is not shareable (we were told it was) it was the size of a normal potato.

Must try the cheese stick caviar. It was very interesting. And the broccolini was perfect!

Very nice place!! Ordered the 10 oz Wagyu Baretta Steak. I don’t recommend it as it was tough to cut through and chew. Snake River Farms Wagyu is marketed as a top Wagyu supplier but wouldn’t buy their beef again. Staff was nice and attentive. Didn’t have any dessert but looked very good. Was hard to talk to others in our party of four as it was pretty loud. Would try again but would choose different menu item.

Excellent quality food, that was fresh and very tasteful. Great service as well. However, the noise level was very high and the price point was a bit high

Probably doesn’t justify the prices. It’s good, service was good except kitchen wouldn’t accommodate a minor menu alteration. Many steakhouse experiences for me, this rates average and overpriced and should have been more accommodating given $400 tab incl grat for 2 ppl with cocktails and glass of wine, no bottles.

Great food and wonderful service. Was pretty loud and hopping, but it was a Friday night. Not great if you’re trying to actually talk during dinner.

Five of us went to dinner and sat in a booth. The booth had one light that shot straight toward the person sitting in the middle of the booth. It felt like it was a spotlight. When our drinks arrived the waiter spilled one straight across the table directly on my lap. Yes, they apologized and cleaned it up. Did they comp the drink? No. I guess I should just feel lucky that they brought me a new drink. My son had a Shirley Temple. They brought him three more and charged us $5.00 for each one. That seemed a little tacky. My wife and I ordered prime rib. They brought the prime rib and it didn’t come with horseradish sauce. Who serves prime rib without horseradish sauce? Yes, they charged us for the horseradish sauce. The food was excellent and the sides were some of the best we have ever had. It just felt like they were trying to squeeze every penny they could out of the experience.

Perfectly cooked steaks, excellent service! We had the ribeye and strip with side of potatoes. We definitely didn’t need an appetiser as well! Highly recommend this place and nicely it doesn’t feel like you’re in a hotel restaurant.

Acoustics are terrible. Almost impossible to hear each other over the diners at adjacent tables. Service was excellent.
