Carmello's Of Old Town Manassas is a family owned and operated restaurant in Historic Manassas, which specializes in Contemporary Cuisine with Italian and Portuguese Fusion. The restaurant features a seasonal menu with locally sourced items from local farms. We are proud to be featured as one of the 50 best restaurants in Northern Virginia By Northern Virginia Magazine.

To accompany your dinner, select from our 2010-2022 Wine Spectator Award Winning Wine List. Come try our extensive Portuguese wine list and taste for yourself what everyone will be talking about. We currently carry over 75 Portuguese wines from such regions as Alentejo, Douro, Doa, Estremadura, and Vinho Verde. Our list of Portuguese wines is one of the finest in the DC Metropolitan area and is comparable to many of the top Portuguese wine lists in the America.

Had dinner with some friends and the food and service was excellent. Nice local area white cloth restaurant. From a food point of view the only thing that got us by surprise was the FRESH STRAWBERRY BRUSCHETTA. It is not a normal Bruschetta and tasted more like a desert. The restaurant was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night. I think 5 other tables were occupied which took away from the ambience.

The staff was excellent, the food was tasty and well prepared. The service was not rushed nor was it to long of a wait between courses. One of the best places to go out for a special occasion or business.

Carmello’s is my favorite restaurant in the world. Even though my fiancée and I have moved 4+ hours away, any time we are around the area, we stop to grab dinner. The service is exceptional. Javier, Nick, and Jag are timely, respectful, insightful, and funny. After eating here over 10+ times, and gotten new food items each time due to the seasonal menu, the quality and consistency of food and drink is the best I’ve ever had. The prices for this quality of food are very reasonable which is another thing that makes Carmello’s so enticing. Please make an effort to dine here if you are deciding to have an unforgettable night out!

As always the food and drinks at Carmello's were declicious!! The PETTO DI POLLO ALLA PIEDMONTESE was nicely spiced and the saffron rice perfection. I had the COSTELLAS DE CORDEIRO. The lamb was tender and practically melted in my mouth. Definitely go with the medium rare. The potatoes au gratin were wonderful. Do try the blood orange martini. It was fantastic. We followed dinner up with the LIMONCELLO CAKE which my husband loves. He gets it every time we go to Carmello's. Our server Lauren was absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and gave excellent suggestions for our dinner.

I asked the waitress 2 questions about food. In both cases she told me to look at the menu. Not acceptable! Pork shank was good. Server not attentive

Javier was a delightful and attentive server. Everyone enjoyed their meals very much. (Filet, pork chop, chicken breast.)

Quiet and quaint. Food was good but not remarkable. Disappointed that there are so very few fine dining restaurants in the area; overpriced food at fine dining prices. Service was great and restaurant very nice.
