Ulysses was a great host ! The food was amazing. We ordered the Brioche Doughnut, Lobster Benedict, Steak Frites, and Truffle Lasagna. We all enjoyed our dishes ! The Guava Mimosas were very much up to par with the theme of the restaurant. The atmosphere was an easy 10/10. Dim lit, very aesthetically pleasing. Will definitely be a repeat customer. The staff alone makes this place a true gem.

This was not what we were experiencing when we made a reservation for our anniversary. The dining experience was pretty basic. Though the place was practically empty, the options of where we could sit were in the midst of other parties, who were louder than what we were used to in a setting of this kind. No intimacy setting. My steak was dry, salty, and burnt. My mocktail tasted like sugar and water. My husband did enjoy his lobster and drink. I wouldn't recommend here for special intimate occasions but more for a chilling with friends and family. It seems very casual. Our server was very average. Nothing exceptional/pleasant that stood out - she did her job, and just that. This is not on my top 10 places to recommend right of the top of my head. It just did not stand out. Will I give it a try again? Most likely not. The 3 stars is because it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.

Food was exceptional. Perfectly cooked, plated and tasty. Service was on point. Restaurant is beautiful. Atmosphere was quiet as very few guests on the evening we visited.

We went to Carmel for my 6th anniversary, and the meal was outstanding. The food and presentation was delicious, and they gave us a dessert on the house that was incredible. Afterwards, they called me to let me know my husband had left his glasses, and they ran down to the parking deck to bring them to us. I cannot begin to mention how incredible the service was. My only wish was that they had more "cozy" tables. There's not too many, so we couldn't celebrate privately.
