Here at Carluccio's, we’ve always been true to our Italian heritage and what food really means to us. The best ingredients, from the best regions, cooked with love.

We are situated on the waterside in Stratford upon Avon, conveniently located near all the famous sights with stunning views across the River Avon. Therefore customers are only a few minute’s walk from Shakespeare’s birthplace and both the Swan Theatre and The Royal Shakespeare Company.

Why not come and grab a pre-theatre meal or sit down after a day of sight seeing? We’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday to Sunday. Our menu caters to vegetarians/vegans and those who are following a gluten-free diet.

    Service was extremely slow- over an hour before we got our main course. Problem was in kitchen not the waitress. Food okay but nothing special.

    Food was u fortunately disappointing.have eaten there before but this time it was not nice. 1/2 dish of fries for £4.25 and tasteless pasta dish. Lady who served us was very nice and professional. Shame about rest.

    This restaurant is not in the same league as Solihull. Food not very good and generally not laid out very good.

    Service really let the evening down. 10 mins to be offered a drink. 10 mins to wait for drink. Food was great. Won’t rush back.

    Not as good as it used to be. Menu now more limited and what we had was dry and rather unappetising (squid & chicken). Puddings are very sickly. Abrupt and unwelcoming start to the evening and a v noisy restaurant despite being half empty on a Saturday evening. On our last pre-theatre visit two years ago we gave most things a 5 star, sadly now the best we could support is 2 stars. Sadly we won’t be returning. Ps : waitress asked for tip in cash which also speaks volumes about the management!

    Food nice but 2 drinks we asked for were not available, and I’d only had the email the previous day to show the new drinks on offer!

    ordered the Casarecce Piccante which was dry and hardly had any sauce. I returned the dish which came back exactly the same. Very disappointing! However, the tiramisu is highly recommended.

    Excellent food and service. Ambience was generally great but slightly disrupted by occasionally fraught conversation at neighbouring table - not a lot Carluccio's can do about that. Would definitely recommend.
