Here at Carluccio's, we’ve always been true to our Italian heritage and what food really means to us. The best ingredients, from the best regions, cooked with love.

We are situated on the waterside in Stratford upon Avon, conveniently located near all the famous sights with stunning views across the River Avon. Therefore customers are only a few minute’s walk from Shakespeare’s birthplace and both the Swan Theatre and The Royal Shakespeare Company.

Why not come and grab a pre-theatre meal or sit down after a day of sight seeing? We’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday to Sunday. Our menu caters to vegetarians/vegans and those who are following a gluten-free diet.

    We are on holidays here,we come twice a year,we always come to Carluccio's. Excellent value for money and delicious food!Staff are always polite and accommodating!Looking forward to returning in December and having the Christmas menu!

    Often receive a special offer at this restaurant, making it extremely good value. Service is very swift so our restaurant of choice whenever we have tickets for the RSC.

    a shame that it closes so early, kitchen shuts at 1945, get there early! great food though.

    Lovely friendly staff, accommodating whilst not continually pestering customers to order. Standard of food, very good with decent sized portions. Excellent customer service.

    Pre-theatre dinner in Stratford, on a 5.15 booking for a 7.15 production. The food arrivd quickly enough for us to be paid up and out by 7.00. The calamari large portion was probably too large for 1 person but my fellow diners removed some anyway! The mushroom risotto was excellent, apparantly, and my carbonara was very good, if you like it with a minimum of sauce (which I do).

    Staff are always good at Carluccios Stratford. Also good food and calm and pleasant ambience.

    Sad to see the place so empty at a relatively peak time. Despite the best efforts of our waiter to give us a good experience, sitting outside we noticed how shabby and tired the exterior seating area was. This is the signpost that, during the summer in particular, may bring customers in, and it is badly neglected. Inside, the previously attractive selection of Italian foodstuffs was badly depleted and looked paltry at best, and while the restaurant was clean functional, it, too, is looking careworn. Credit to the staff for looking after us, and the food was tasty enough, but one fears for the future of both this restaurant and the chain itself if the signs we saw point to its future.

    The pasta our daughters had was fine, but our duck confit was gelatinous and off-putting, as if it hadn't been cooked through properly; the potatoes and French beans were boiled with no seasoning. It was very disappointing. Our waitress was lovely, so we were disappointed to hear that Carluccio's doesn't give the full tip to the staff if it is included on the bill (we pushed the waitress about this specifically; she wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise). We won't be going back! Which is sad as this used to be one of our favourite restaurants.
