Here at Carluccio's, we’ve always been true to our Italian heritage and what food really means to us. The best ingredients, from the best regions, cooked with love.

We're just a 5 min walk from the Oracle Shopping Centre.

We’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Sunday. Our menu also caters for vegetarians/vegans and those who are following a gluten free diet.

Excellent food. Service superb and friendly . Good value and of course there is always lots of goodies on sale in shop. I bought my annual Pannetone. Went home happy .

Table booked 6.30 Saturday evening and two of our guests ordered the sea bass and there was only one left ,how this could be possible at such an early time on a Saturday I don’t understand. As in my review after our last visit the menu has been reduced so to run out of a popular dish isn’t very professional. We have enjoyed going to this Carluccios for years but probably won’t return now. The wine list has been reduced with no carafes available and wine prices high . Restaurant always had a personal touch for us but this has changed but then a lot of the original staff have left. Such a shame I can’t see this brand lasting much longer

The food was great for the price. We didn't have the set menu. it was very reasonable The staff were very friendly and I love the fact you aren't sat on top of each other and the restaurant is very airy

Poor customer service, on the day of our booking we received a phonecall that they had a private function on that day, but we could pay £65pp to join. Clearly some sort of booking issue!

The staff were absolutely brilliant, very kind and attentive. Portion sizes were not great - no fault of the staff, I'm sure - and value for money is questionable.

What a lovely meal at Carluccios in Reading. Nice setting in the ‘plaza’ in front of Forboys Park. The food was delicious. We were there for our anniversary. Not a particularly special one but always worth celebrating. We shared the bruschetta as it’s always a generous portion for just one person and then went for the sea bass and steak respectively. Again really beautifully cooked and served. Finished with a slice of polenta cake. Lovely and moist with a hint of bitter orange. The highlight though was the service. Charlene and Shweta were excellent. Charlene treated us as if we were ‘regulars’. Such a warm welcome and a great service. It makes such a difference in making an evening out feel special. Thanks again and hope to see you again soon.

Nice food, very busy therefore the background noise was very loud - assume it must be something to do with the building as not all places when busy generate this noise level to the extent it was hard to concentrate on conversation at the table. Food was excellent, very few staff to the ratio of customers but they did well and we were not in a hurry so not a problem to us. Food was really nice but like most places the drinks push up the price, perhaps not an issue for some being on a pension I have to be careful. I would return and recommend if you have the income and time for a busy service. Well done staff myself and my friends enjoyed the time with you, appreciated.

We were a family group of 11. The service was fantastic and all the staff were super friendly. The food was delicious as were the cocktails. I would definitely recommend it and we will be back!

The staff member a woman was miserable food we had to complain it’s wasn’t cooked enough. I have been coming here on and of for years food was always lovely as were the staff it was empty not a good experience
