Here at Carluccio's, we’ve always been true to our Italian heritage and what food really means to us. The best ingredients, from the best regions, cooked with love.

We’re in the heart of the city, next to the Cambridge University buildings.

We’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday to Sunday. We cater for vegetarians and those who are following a gluten-free diet, with options for both on our menu.

We popped in for a quick lunch for my daughter's birthday before cinema. Had to adjust booking time with short notice as traffic was bad. No issues or difficulty doing it, and upon arrival we had a table with handmade special decoration for the birthday, we got candle on my daughter's dessert and some of the team were singing happy birthday to her. Claudia went above and beyond to make it special, can't praise her enough. Always a pleasure to dine here, thank you for all the effort today and for the amazing food

We had a great meal after our visit to the panto with family. Service was outstanding. Food excellent and an all round superb experience

Really friendly dog-friendly restaurant right in the centre of Cambridge. The food was a tad slow to arrive (although we were a table of 8) but, when it did arrive, it was exceptional. Nice family atmosphere. Superb service (top marks to Kerry, especially, for her professionalism, good humour and attitude). We'll definitely be back.

We were served very well and in good time to leave to see a performance at the Corn Exchange. We will definitely make a return visit in January 2025. Thank you very much.

We were very impressed a very nice welcome on arrival we had a good table near the window. Service was excellent and we were soon served our drinks and shared starter. The mains were superb and we had coffees to Finnish. The Staff were friendly and efficient. We were very impressed and will visit again when in Cambridge.

Booked for a of 8 party in September for Christmas Eve with a £10 person deposit with Prosecco on a special offer. Staff knew nothing of offer and claimed the deposit was to cover a glass of Prosecco but then proceeded to charge me anyway for the drinks. Service was slow and food was average for the price. Very disappointed but as the meal took 2 and half hours and we had Panto tickets for 3pm, had to just pay and run at 2.50pm. Was told if I come back in January I could get 50% of the main menu, I will not be going back! My advice is to get everything confirmed in writing before your visit and do not rely on any booking code!

Have eaten here a few times and in the past it has been really good but this time the service was a little disorganised. Food came out way before the drinks and having ordered extra pancetta on one of the breakfasts ,I'm not sure that we actually got it as there seemed to be the same small amount on every plate.

Used to be a regular at Carluccio's mainly in London, so always used to decent, consistent food. I always try to judge a restaurant with the rule of thumb that - if I coud make it better at home then something isn't right. On this occasion I felt dissapointed, the staff were friendly, efficient and attentive however some of the food didn't quite cut it. Kids starters of chopped veg had been pre-cut, a bit limp with a strong wiff of vinegar. My steak med/rare was definitely medium and the classic tiramisu had a stange apple element and lacked on the trademark alcohol kick. For a retaurant with a strong traditional Italian heritage I think they have to be getting these basics right. For me I don't think I'll be going back to any Carluccio's any time soon, pity.

A lovely meal at Carluccio's in Cambridge. Friendly and professional service. Excellent chicken Milanese - lovely crispy breadcrumb coating - piping hot fries (crisp outside and fluffy inside as they should be). Good coffee (rich and strong) - and a delicious brownie with pistachio ice cream. The Giardiniera pasta was also (apparently) delicious. Pleasantly spacious dining area too with high ceilings so there's a gentle sound of background chatter from other diners without drowning out your own table's conversation. Thank you to all the team.

Service was exceptional (Table 32 at 1330). Food excellent (Carbonara) perhaps a tad heavy on black pepper (which I enjoyed) Ambience as usual. A busy Saturday. Enjoyable Will book again. Thank you.
