Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too.
The menu is Modern European with a specials menu that changes regularly and plenty of choice on the drinks and cocktail menu.

Had a wonderful and most memorable meal at Carlos @ B&V on Saturday evening! Hospitality, food and ambience could not be faulted. The addition of a table-side magician made for an entertaining and novel experience. Thank you Carlos @ B&V!

I would say that the place has a great vibe. I was not impressed at all by the food. I ordered a Frutti di Mare risotto as they do not have any halal meat. It looked more like sea food in tomato sauce. The service was good and our waitress was very good. Overall, it was 3.5 star for me.

Had a great afternoon- felt roast potatoes had been cooked a long time ago as were hard and dry - fellow diners felt their scallops weren’t very good which was a shame as they were an expensive starter at £12.00 Staff lovely very helpful and professional

I had not even finished chewing the last bit of my main and the waiter was requesting to take the plates. Felt very rushed all in all an ok place, not sure I would go back again.

Excellent tuna tartare, mixed grill fish also very good. Our friends steak not cooked as he ordered, had to return , have another one. Also, deserts, needed second request as waiting a while. 2 bottles of wine, 2 courses x2, then 3 courses x2, Bill was £305. Service at 12.5%. Not a cheap evening out, however, food and wine were very good, service a bit slower than usual but a new waitress training, did very well considering ! Would recommend this restaurant, they do a lovely set lunch which is good value.

Very nice atmosphere. Great waiter very helpful, excellent value at lunchtime, thoroughly enjoyed it so much so we are returning on Saturday evening.

Gorgeous food, lovely service, so altogether a very enjoyable lunch. It is definitely my first choice of restaurant in Winchmore Hill.
