From the people that brought you Trattoria Carina, Pub & Kitchen and The Diving Horse comes their newest restaurant, Carina Sorella.

Carina Sorella is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant with a focus on delicious and approachable food in a bright, vibrant atmosphere. Our menu is built around classic dishes - Spaghetti and Meatballs, Cacio e Pepe, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan - but we surround that core of dishes with seasonal, chef driven specialties.

The Bryn Mawr location will include the addition of a pizza oven and a full bar, building on the smaller footprint of the existing location in Philadelphia, Trattoria Carina.

I will start with a good, the grilled artichoke was fantastic as well as the dessert that was comped to us. Much appreciated. Unfortunately, that’s where I have to stop in terms of positive review. Most of the pasta sauces were very watery and my salad was an edible as it was overdressed. All of this was brought to the attention of the staff, who were very, very gracious in listening to our feedback. ultimately though, the meal was a big whiff.

We went for brunch at 11:30am. I ordered the 2 eggs with crispy potatoes and bacon. The crispy potatoes were completely cold and the thick bacon was only 1/2 cooked. The eggs. Were ok. Someone needs to talk to the chef.

Carina never disappoints! The food and drinks are excellent! Special mention to the staff especially Marissa and Jenna who enhanced our visit with excellent service!

Everything was wonderful..... very very LOUD....... Tables are way toooo close for nice dinner conversation. Service was very professional and good.

It was so close to being good but service was very slow. We ordered the chopped salad which was plain lettuce w a few olives , chick peas and onions. Perhaps they forgot the dressing or it was just too light? The pasta was fine. My friend got a rigatoni w sausage and red sauce which was very nice. It’s a nice setting, the service and food was disappointing.

Excellent service, very good ambience, and very good food. All in all a really nice experience and will definitely come back.

My martini was very watered down very weak my bottle of sparkling water was not cold only room temperature the salad was good scallops were very good my friends chicken parm was a large portion but came with no sides $9.00 for a side of pasta not sure if I will be going back

The noise level was unbearably loud which sadly impacted our overall experience. While the food was tasty, service adequate, we likely wouldn’t recommend and may not return.

Great atmosphere, good food and a nice establishment. The place was full and loud but that didn't take away from the experience. Would go here again, just be ready for the noise level.
