From the people that brought you Trattoria Carina, Pub & Kitchen and The Diving Horse comes their newest restaurant, Carina Sorella.

Carina Sorella is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant with a focus on delicious and approachable food in a bright, vibrant atmosphere. Our menu is built around classic dishes - Spaghetti and Meatballs, Cacio e Pepe, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan - but we surround that core of dishes with seasonal, chef driven specialties.

The Bryn Mawr location will include the addition of a pizza oven and a full bar, building on the smaller footprint of the existing location in Philadelphia, Trattoria Carina.

I was looking forward to a delicious dinner with friends from Texas. I was bragging about the incredible reviews. The meatballs were great but the octopus was average and way too small to share with 6 people. The pizza was incredible but the swordfish was dry along with our pasta dish. The noise was too loud to stay for dessert.

This restaurant has the best service that we have received in a long time. One server was nicer than the other. The hostess couldn’t be more welcoming! My martini was made to perfection! Our dinner was very delicious! We will be back! Fair warning! You will need to schedule way in advance as carina sorelle gets booked quickly!

We loved the use of the space, the decor and especially the plantings outside the half-moon windows. Service was wonderful with all the little touches you don't get much anymore like crumbing the table, filling your water glass and not forgetting about you once you've gotten your entree. Everyone was very pleasant. Overall, the food was very good, especially the arancini and the swordfish The only problem was the noise- it's extremely loud.

Not good. We were seated right away and ordered shortly thereafter. The decor is lovely. Our starters arrived in good timing, but the Caesar salad came with zero dressing and the heirloom tomato salad was small with just a small smear of stracciatella. It then took an hour after our starters arrived-literally no exaggeration-for our pizza and pasta dishes to arrive. We were repeatedly told that our entrees were arriving in "5-10" minutes which was clearly not the case. The cacio e pepe and gemelli were bland and seasonless and honestly tasted the same, and to top it all off the pasta was completely undercooked-not al dente. Two of the same pasta dishes were portioned quite differently as well. The pizza was fine. Nothing special. I really wish our experience was better because we were hoping to find a weekly go-to place for dinner to add to our rotation.

Delicious food! Awesome server. Overall great experience. Will be back! Not a big deal, but towards the end of the meal many different people stopped by our table to clear our dishes and we were still finishing. Felt a little much but not a big deal.

Rigatoni was very undercooked, sauce was flavorless and watery, and the dish looked soggy… quite shocking to be honest.

Wonderful from stem to stern! Thanks to the fabulous staff and chef for making our night out not only delicious but memorable! Danielle thoughtfully placed us in a quieter booth for my older parents and Joseph our server recommended fantastic picks from his favorites! Thanks to Jason for stopping by and saying hi! What a warm and friendly way to spend the evening with my parents! They were so happy…which made me happy! Will be back!

service was great. food was okay but could definitely share next time. pasta is al dente which isn’t my preference and also a little bland but I just know next time if I order pasta then to ask for them to cook it through. overall for the price and taste of food - I will stick to the pizza.
