From the people that brought you Trattoria Carina, Pub & Kitchen and The Diving Horse comes their newest restaurant, Carina Sorella.

Carina Sorella is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant with a focus on delicious and approachable food in a bright, vibrant atmosphere. Our menu is built around classic dishes - Spaghetti and Meatballs, Cacio e Pepe, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan - but we surround that core of dishes with seasonal, chef driven specialties.

The Bryn Mawr location will include the addition of a pizza oven and a full bar, building on the smaller footprint of the existing location in Philadelphia, Trattoria Carina.

Great service, lovely decor, amazing food, especially the pasta dishes ( I love pasta). Terrific salads, too, large and very tasty, surprising really!! Highly recommended.

Amazing! We love the sister restaurant in Philly! This new location is amazing! Food is amazing, space and ambiance was gorgeous! Drinks were awesome too! Might be my new favorite place!!! You have to go!

Food was rushed and cold. We were in and out in less than an hour on a Saturday evening Waitress was rude to my wife.

We have dined before and had a wonderful experience all three times , but this time we were 4 couples and put in the middle/center isle of the restaurant and it was very noisy we could not hear each other at all and it was not cozy - almost cold. Very disappointed. The 2nd grievance was our waiter , who was so pushy he was like a cheesey car salesman - he must have asked if we were “sure” we didn’t want the filet *five* times and that was just to our side of the table where two do not even eat meat! He was awful and tried to upsale us for everything which was ironic bc we drank a ton and all the men ordered a side of pasta In addition to their entrees, so while it should never be warranted to PUSH the menu on customers, it was even further insulting bc we all love to eat and drink a lot (point being, the bill and therefore his tip were not going to be skimpy)!!! We will return again and hope for a better table and server .

I had high expectations for this restaurant being that I heard such great reviews about it. Walking in great ambience. Starting with appetizers…If you’re ordering Burrata , you should be getting peppers or tomatoes or something with it. You just never eat burrata by itself. The fact that you have to have order bread and peppers separately makes no sense to me. Next, we had the arancini. It was ok.

Great food and great service at Carina Sorella on a busy Friday evening. The staff is very attentive and very accommodating. Our server had excellent timing with our drinks, salads, entrees and desserts. Yes, it’s very loud in the dining room. The floors and walls are all tiled and the tables are marble so there’s nothing to deaden the sound. We shared a good sized Caesar salad that was dressed perfectly with a delicious house made dressing. The chicken parm was fantastic as was the Gemelli with pesto and pistachio. The best part of our meal was the budino. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. It was a masterpiece!! We are looking forward to our next visit.
