Located in the Historical Defoe Building, La Vita e Bella is spread over three intimate dining rooms. Our menu focuses on fresh, from our homemade pasta to our handcrafted desserts everything we serve is done with care. We are the perfect destination for your romantic dinner, group function in one of our private dining spaces or a night out before an event at the Saddledome. We look forward to seeing you soon.

    Food never disappoints. I try to come here every time I am in Calgary. Authentic Italian. So delicious. Service is wonderful too.

    Cardinale never disappoints. The calamari is divine, the vino superb, the pasta dishes were fresh, the gnocchi like pillows and the veal cooked to perfection. Chef’s kiss

    We were greeted immediately and brought to our table. Our server was attentive and hilarious. That always adds to the experience. The food was fantastic and each of us enjoyed our meals thoroughly. Thanks for making our visit with dear friends an even better time!

    We love this restaurant! Service is always fantastic. The food and cocktails are always delicious. We brought a friend for dinner this time as a thank you and she had never been before, she loved everything as well!

    Cardinale is great. Reasonably priced food, great wine selection. Location is ideal for pre-hockey game meals or before a concert. Will continue to go for a great meal.
