Carbone is Chef Mario Carbone’s homage to the great Italian American restaurants of mid-20th century in New York, where delicious, exceptionally well-prepared food was served in settings that were simultaneously elegant, comfortable and unpretentious. His food captures the essence of that history but takes its culinary cues from the kitchens of his childhood, the great talents with whom he worked throughout his early career and incorporates his signature techniques that blend familiar and bold flavors to create the most craveable dishes. We call this Carbone Italian.

Experience went perfect! The food was delicious, drinks were great, the whole dining experience was fantastic, our server Elena was also outstanding and very kind

You’re paying for the ambience. We spent $400 for 2 people. It took 3 hours from time of reservation to signing our bill and this was driven by the restaurant… all night affair. Everything was good but not amazing. They only have 2 bathrooms for a place that holds 350 people so there was a crazy line. I just wasn’t impressed with the quality of the food. I felt the ambiance was super overrated.. if you don’t feel that way then you’ll likely enjoy this place. That said, if I’m spending $400 I am certainly not going here if I can avoid it.

Carbone Dallas was very yummy and far more relaxed than other locations! The staff was extremely nice and helpful without being overly involved. The pasta was yummy, some more on the salty side. Great place to stop in during the week!

We had a wonderful date night. Our waitress, our hostess and every server we encountered made our experience exceptional. The food mid to low at best. I mean a guy with bangs swinging in our food tried to make our salad. He noticed my discomfort and found another person to make our salad. He was very classy and professional about it. I sent the spicy pasta back their signature dish to have it recooked it was hard. Then we ordered the chicken. Undercooked and lukewarm warm. I’m not a celebrity so I don’t get flocking to restaurants with mid food. Our dates are special to us and we want to be ahhhhhmazed. If it wasnt for the absolute superior wait staff Carbone wouldn’t even get 1 star.

I was so disappointed- we were there over two and a half hours and only got our salads. Complained and finally got one of our pasta dishes. Waited 30 more mins and ended up canceling our meats and remaining items because it was so slow. Took another 25 mins to get the check
