    Found the Caprice on OpenTable as a highly rated location. When we arrived it was very quiet, only 50m from the High St and Shop St but it was like a different city. A real gem, lovely bright and clean. There were a couple of items not available from the menu but we were offered alternatives and indeed the alternatives were stunning. The wine we chose was excellent. The staff were really friendly. Overall a lovely evening.

    Restaurant was closed! They took our reservation, but the restaurant was closed up tight when we arrived! I guess they closed / went out of business?

    My friends and I didn’t dine here, nor did the other couple who were already there wondering why the restaurant wasn’t open. Why was this on Open Table when it wasn’t open and there wasn’t even a notice on the entrance? This was on a very busy evening due to the American football game, so a reservation was important to us.

    Arrived at the restaurant at 7 PM, which was the reservation time, the doors were locked and no sign of activity. Also no posted notifications regarding the closure. One other customer was also standing outside.

    We booked weeks in advance, confirmed by email 2 days in advance, and when we got there the place was closed down. No sign on the door, no online notice, no reply to messages 0

    Shocking experience. Booked for nearly 2 months in advance for my graduation. Got a text/ email the day before to confirm booking. Showed up at 6pm (time booked) and completely closed. Tried calling the number multiple times and nothing. Extremely disappointing especially on such a big day!

    DO NOT BOOK! Booked for a special occasion and the restaurant never opened. They never made an attempt to contact us and left us standing in the rain trying to call them, to no avail.
