Our chef and beverage director, both hailing from Naples, infuse their traditions and authenticity into every dish. Service was so so. The first waitstaff seemed ready to get off shift wasn’t too friendly. By the way this was our Christmas meal. However Second Lady was more chatty and engaging. Porcini risotto dish was amazing! Salmon was normal. Calamari and zucchini fritters were especially fresh and tasty. Margherita pizza was fine. Brussels sprouts were also very nice. Top kudos to the tiramisu. Best I’ve ever had. Molto grazie.

We had the pre fixe menu on Christmas Day. The food was phenomenal and the space was gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience and would recommend this place for special occasions. The wait for our food was on the longer side, but it was Christmas Day so I presume it was due to being short staffed on a busy dining day.

Despite being a very busy night, the staff did an excellent job with service and food. Nadia, the manager, made us feel most welcome and comfortable. Suhey was a wonderful server -friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Era eccellente! Grazie mille 🤩

Food was very good, however, the experience was very disappointing — the service was so poor. Clearly not enough staff even though it was a busy time. One very bizarre thing, when we finally got some bread 3/4 through our meal (after asking twice) it was cold — not room temp — but like it was defrosting or had just come from fridge. The rest of our food was good.

I love eating at Capri! I eat there regularly and always feel comfortable knowing I’m getting consistently well prepared and presented Italian food. The atmosphere is warm and very inviting wrapped around an open kitchen with a professional staff to serve you. I would normally give it 5 stars across but it is the Holidays crowds and it was packed. The kitchen was backed up, food came out late, but hot and fresh, and service was a little slow. We all understood!

It was one of the most disappointing meals I have had- the service was horrible- requests were completely ignored. The staff seemed to never have waited tables before. The bread was literally frozen in the middle. The salmon was raw. The salad was so horribly overdressed and served in large pieces that were difficult to cut- radicchio is usually cut into smaller pieces. The pizzas were completely soggy in the middle. We ordered truffle on one of the pizzas and you could not taste it at all. The pasta with shrimp had a shrimp head without any shrimp attached to it and the shrimp in the pasta was tiny cut up pieces that seemed to have been thrown in from another dish and it was way too much red sauce. The only items that were decent were the bottle of wine, the pasta with ragu and the zucchini pasta dish. The bill was close to $500 and even though we voiced our complaints to the manager, nothing was reduced on the bill. I have shopped at Eataly many times and eaten at Terra many times and food and service have always even excellent. This meal at Capri is hands down one of the worst meals I have ever had- such a disappointment!! We will never eat there again.
