Capone’s Oven & Bar is located at 2303 Richmond Ave, Houston, TX 77098 and our phone number is (832)767-1794. We are a 1920’s style bar and oven offering the finest in gourmet pizzas, salads, and appetizers all prepared right in front of your eyes and cooked to perfection in our state of the art brick oven. A few of Capone’s specialities are the Capone’s pizza made with arugula, procuitto and topped with truffle oil, or The Godfather pizza made with pepperoni, Italian sausage and jalapeños. Food is served Wednesday through Saturday until 1:45 am and Sunday through Tuesday until 11:45 for your convenience and go beautifully with Capone’s wine list or wide selection of bourbons and single-malt scotch. Also, we feature LIVE MUSIC Wednesday – Saturday evenings, cover charges do not apply. Please see our calendar of events page to get the latest information for our live music line up.

This is not the place to go if you want to talk and visit with others. The band is so loud that we couldn't talk. I spent the evening apologizing to our guests from Dallas for the high level of noise. If you don't really want to talk to the people you're meeting for dinner - this is your place. The pizza was good, but the crust was a little soggy. The parking lot is a nightmare so Uber if you can. We used to come here before Covid but after Covid we pretty much stick to our suburban area. I think we have become too old and hearing-impaired for Capone's.

Food was delicious (especially the oh so thin crust pizza) and service was attentive. Wine list a little too limited especially by the glass but Capone’s is definitely a repeat!!

Best pizza in Houston. I have never had a bad experience or an off night at Capones. The service is good, it is a casual & laid back environment with outstanding pizza!

11 of us had a really fun night listening to the band Sound Warehouse, eating pizza and drinking beer and cocktails. The server was great and was able to gave us split checks. We had no trouble finding parking in the back as well.

This is really a bar not a restaurant — the pizza is ok — crispy, thin, nice — but reminds me of a good frozen pizza baked right. The lasagna was a goopy soup of stuff in a tangy sort of marinara sauce Texas style (WTF?) served in a baking dish and covered with a thick goo of mozzeralla. Seems like a good everyday bar to hangout or eat pizza but not a place to go for a good Italian meal.

Took my wife for a surprise get-together with her local bff and out of town bff for a milestone bday. Getting sat was quick and although they tried to sit us in front of the stage, there was no problem moving us. Our server Tristin (last name) was great. Personable and checked in pretty often as the place got considerably busier. Apps (crab stuffed mushrooms & prosciutto caprese bites) were okay. Crab in shrooms didn't have much flavor. Now the pizza was pretty good. Marg and garlic chicken for 5 people went over well. As this was the 1st visit for us 4 locals, we'll be back. Warning - parking can suck as they share a lot with 3 other places with the same hours. But they have more directly behind the bldg, behind a fence.

This is one of our favorite places to dine. We have an annual Christmas Eve tradition to dine here as well with our entire family. Capone's is always so accommodating to our ever changing family and their individual requests. We will continue to dine here for many years to come!

Matt was nice at first but I think maybe the size of our party of 20 was too out for him because once it came time to split checks I went to him not once but twice to help sort the check and the first time he had got everything pulled over to one tab and said he got it then I went back to sit down then after not getting a follow up I went back up to make sure he was bringing the ticket and his response was can you repeat that again you have to go slower and I kid you not 20 minutes prior I sat there and watched him pull the items over to a separate tab so I tell him I’m just gonna go sit down while he figures out the tab since I had already told him the people I wanted on my tab. A few minutes later he comes back and says there was miscommunication and nobody told him how we wanted our checks (my aunt had also went to him as well btw) He then proceeds to throw down 4 black bill folders on the table towards my mom and husband and says “ yall figure it out” and walks off. First off very disrespectful!!! Secondly I get mad because you’re lying on my name to cover yourself because you couldn’t get it together. Staff should be trained for big parties! If they’re not they shouldn’t be put on the tables at all. I go talk to the manager and my husband and mom’s husband gets mad due to the disrespect and him almost hit my mom with the 4 bulky bill folders. I talk to the manager and she is calm but still confused because she has no idea what is going on due to poor training of her employee. I’m standing there trying to sort the bills out and Matt comes along again and interjects himself but no apology. He had charged for stuff that was sent back on top of the new items that had been replaced. The manager was stuck doing damage control and I can say she did what she could to redeem the situation but it was too far gone! The food wasn’t all that good hence the items we were sending back which was only two things but other than that don’t get Matt if you have a big party!
