We used to love coming here but the quality has really declined. The wait staff was absolutely annihilated and were doing everything they could to keep their tables satisfied. The chips were so stale and the salsa was really watery and flavorless, which never used to be the case. The food was ok…not as good when compared with other Mexican restaurants in the area. We hope they can turn things around because it is such a cute restaurant and has a ton of potential.

Cantina Viajero is such a fun place with a colorful and pleasant ambiance. The service is always spectacular with the employees taking great care in making sure guests are satisfied with every aspect of their visit. The food is always fresh and delicious. My usual is the shrimp and blue crab enchiladas with a delightful cream pesto sauce and the charro beans have a nice lightly smoked flavor. I suggest the sangria to drink, it’s light with just enough sweetness.

Excellent authentic Mexican food with some unusual and delicious dishes we hadn’t seen offered before by any other restaurant. Large portions, very good red sangria and frozen margaritas, as well as attentive and friendly service… we’ll definitely be returning for another meal several times in the near future!

I was very disappointed in our service and food yesterday. I have been going here since it opened. I gave it one more try because I thought the last time I visited was just a bad night. However I was wrong. The service has gone downhill. I was also very dissatisfied with my entree. It was very bland, no flavor, and overcooked. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Not worth the price. The drinks were great but took a while to get. Server was awesome, quesadillas were delicious as well as the elote, the main courses were disappointing. Atmosphere was cool but I wouldn’t come back.
