Cantina Norte is an upper-middle range Mexican restaurant located in beautiful Edgemont Village, North Vancouver. Serving high-quality dishes from Mexico’s west coast, Cantina Norte is a modern interpretation of a former family restaurant – Vancouver’s most award-winning Mexican restaurant, Cafe Norte (1998-2009). We are a fully-licensed, food-primary establishment offering sit-in dining, take-away, catering, and event-hosting.

                      We always enjoy ourselves at this restaurant. I must admit the serving size of chicken enchiladas seem to have shrunk. The manager and service staff were very engaging and welcoming. The only issue I have is that I mentioned when I made the reso that we were celebrating a birthday but the service staff seemed to not know. I’m not sure what is usually done . Other than that , all good.

                      Party of 5 for grandmas celebration supper (yes it's supper, not dinner). Very nice place. Had reservation. Place was full on a Sunday night. Service was great all night. They poured our sangria pitcher into wine glasses at the table. Water was always topped (pet peeve for me but servers were amazing). We ordered a kale salad, quesidila, two chille rellono, and a chimichanga. All reports were pretty average. Not bad just not great. I will return likely. They have the service right no question. Captive audience in North Vancouver

                      The food is always exceptional, the cocktails were nice, and the service was warm and friendly. Can not say enough about this restaurant!

                      Found the service to be a bit slow. I’ve been to this restaurant before and service was never this slow. The food, as always, was excellent.

                      One food order was incorrect. The barbacoa was in a too spicy bean sauce which ruined the otherwise good taste of the meat. The noise level was high. Nuff said.

                      Food was good, just not a good place to take someone with a dairy sensitivity. very few options for GF and DF and very hard to get dairy left out of the order.

                      Cantina norte is a very lovely local Edgemont spot with Mexican infused cuisine. Their wine menu is lovely and fairly priced and the service is extraordinary
