We’ve been here twice and found it depends on the visit. The restaurant was busier this time - about 1/3 full and getting busier. We had 8 people, (4 pm Tuesday), (3 people at noon the first time), so the second time we actually went in a couple days before to check with the person in charge of seating and he said he would have a place ready and wrote our details down. We got there and they were not ready for us at all. We waited for a setup, and he then put us together in a corner against a wall and counter on 2 sides, though 2/3 the restaurant was empty. We couldn’t get out, they couldn’t get around, and they were not expecting us it seemed. The place was too noisy to hear except for the person right next to us. The food was seasoned really well, but the steak for the fajitas was dry. The tacos on our first visit were outstanding. It is very new still, and it seems they are working out some things.

So I went for the first time on Valentine’s Day. It was not busy but I had a reservation. We were sat immediately. The biggest issue I had is the limited menu. I understand that it being a busy holiday for the food industry so I expected that. The issue is it was so limited. Not many options even for a limited menu. I had the steak fajita and my girlfriend had the trio (shrimp, chicken and steak) we also had the queso. The shrimp was good but disappointed in the steak. Very bland and the tortillas are definitely not made fresh. They gave you a small side of the cheese and sour cream and whatnot but not enough and I was not full when I left. So a small portion. Service was okay. I definitely understand what everyone was saying about the ambient feel. When I looked at the menu online I thought it was a nice restaurant then it was. I don’t believe I would go back maybe to try the full menu but definitely not for Valentine’s Day. We had our reservation at 6:30 but even when we left it was not busy.

Best mex food around... will be back for sure. Staff did a great job from making the food to taking care of us.

Think they are working through some new opening kinks. We love the restaurant in Denison and our visit was good here. Couple things, didn’t advertise they were running a limited menu for cinco de Mayo and although we had a reservation, our wait was just as long as what they were quoting at the door. Our server was great and food was good.

They had only been open a week and are still getting their act together. The 2nd time, the service was better. I like the extensive taco menu. Food is a little more creative than typical Mexican fare and everything we tried was very tasty.
