This was our first time at Canoe, and we will definitely be back. Some of the highlights were the arugula salad which was a fantastic blend of flavors from the pear and gorgonzola with a delicious dressing that didn’t overpower the fresh greens. My husband couldn’t stop raving about their signature duck tacos which had a surprisingly generous amount of duck.

Entrees and salad were great. Spicy tuna on rice appetizer was only 3 small pieces and not worth the $18 price.

A real restaurant run by people who care. Not fancy, thank you, but elegant in every way. Food was excellent and the team very attentive. You almost hope the word doesn't get out and it gets oversubscribed.

Our absolute favorite GO TO! Incredible food, (quality and preparation). I’ve never had anything I didn’t like there. Kane, Louis and the rest of the staff make it feel like a home away from home!

Really good experience. Two very noisy guys at the bar, sitting five feet across, yelling made it too noisy. several tables sitting outside in th4e good weather. Food was terrific for a limited, summer dinner menu, quite fewer choices from their website. but each item seemed innovative, with a good range of choices. very tasty. service was adequate, spread a bit thin by the dinner crowd. I certainly would go back.

Wonderful staff, good food. Only drawback was that when sitting outside there is a lot of construction traffic going by. It really ruins the ambience on the patio.

First visit to Canoe. A little off the beaten track in Greenwich. Overall, this rating would be 3 1/2 stars. My reason is that food was adequate. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was tasty and just enough. We also had the grilled chicken Caesar and although the vegetables were fresh, the chicken was fairly dry and appeared to be reheated. All that said, the service was outstanding. Even though it wasn’t too busy on a Monday afternoon, sometimes service suffers in a slow environment. Not here. One other comment: the building that houses the restaurant is undergoing a serious renovation and although not evident inside, it does detract from the ambiance as you approach the restaurant.
