Always enjoy food and service at Candor. New Fall menu is just fabulous. The best chicken Milanese- crispy, flavorful, not greasy and served with fresh arugula and tomatoes. Make sure you leave room for an amazing TIRAMISU MOUSSE CAKE!!

It hurts me to say this because Candor is one of my favorite restaurants and I’ve never had anything like the service last night. I specifically brought my friends from Chicago because I know there’s never been anything but a great meal served by your people. I can only imagine that you were shortstaffed. We were brought two slices of toast for four diners. The toast was burned. I asked no less than three times for more bread not burned, and after about 40 minutes, we got two slices of burnt toast. My dinner was lukewarm. Clearly it had been sitting and waiting for the server. To be fair, our server who was very lovely man, looked like he was just running ragged and barely had time to give us the kind of service that we always get at your restaurant. I will consider it an aberrant experience and will certainly be back because, as I said, I so enjoy your restaurant. I was particularly surprised because Giuseppe was there and I would’ve thought he would’ve watched over. I saw very little of him, but he looked very busy when I did see him.

It's very nice that you allow pets on the outdoor patio, however, the dog next to us kept barking and the owners would not excuse themselves from the table. :(

Candor always delivers in food, service, quality, and ambiance... a true neighborhood gem! You can't go wrong with any of the dishes as we have had many over the years. Last night was the lamb pappardelle & the short rib with the tomato bread. All winners. Service from Juan M was exceptional too!

The servers were very attentive. Our favorite dish was the burrata with grilled peach and toasted bread appetizer, which was delicious and beautifully plated. The short ribs were flavorful but on the dry side. The Moroccan shrimp salad with peaches made for a light yet satisfying summer entree.
