Cañas y Tapas, or CyT for short is a traditional Spanish Restaurant, Bar & Café.
We are proud to offer authentic Spanish food with fabulous flavours!
With over 70 delicious Spanish tapas dishes to choose from using quality,
natural ingredients, your taste buds will be in for a culinary delight!
Our extensive Spanish menu covers everything from an exceptional lunch time menu through to everything you could want for a late night tapas dining experience.
Our bar is open all day until late where you are welcome to sit and enjoy anything from a traditional Spanish coffee (not forgetting our desserts)

We ordered the £20 per head tapas menu option and the food just kept coming. Everything was beautifully cooked and the service was excellent.

Although it had accepted my booking, when I got there with friends, I found it was closed. I cannot therefore comment on the food or staff, but the service provided was poor - it should not be accepting bookings at times when it cannot accommodate them.

Came here on a Friday night with the family for the all you can eat tapas. Food was of a good quality but be warned that the all you can eat menu is more restrictive than the a la carte menu. This is not made clear before you arrive. That being said, the all you can eat menu has about three quarters of the dishes from the full menu including all the "classic" tapas dishes (patatas bravas, pimientos padron etc.). All in all a good experience and would come back

Really great concept- like a buffet but you order off the menu. Great price, £15 for all you can eat lunch that is served hot to you is awesome. All of the seafood related dishes were not good, to the point where we didn't eat them. But the other things really wonderful. Would come again.

Nice mix of classic tapas. Service was a bit chaotic as they brought us some extra things, some things didn't arrive or got taken away again and then the last thing didn't arrive til after the plates were all taken away. But nice atmosphere and would probably go back again and stay on for the late night bar.

Came here as there would be something on the menu even fussy people in our party of three would like. We were staying overnight nearby and booked the restaurant a week before travelling.Ordered three dishes each which as it turned out was plenty. People were being turned away at the door so booking would be advisable. Staff were attentive enough and explained items very clearly. We were under no pressure and enjoyed our varied tapas at our leisure. The atmosphere was good,we had a group celebrating a hen night which was lively but well ordered. The toilets were clean. All in all we had a nice evening and would return.

We had the all-you-can-eat tapas offer, which was very good value. The friendly waitress made helpful suggestions as to choices and the food was good and plentiful. Only downside was that our table was on the narrow aisle so everyone passing bumped into it, which became slightly irritating. We also had to order in something of a hurry as the kitchen closes early on Fridays and Saturdays when the place becomes a club for the later evening. Overall, though, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will return, but probably on a weeknight.

We arrived at this restaurant having booked what we thought was a very good offer through OpenTable. This was 'Unlimited Tapas' for £14.95 per person. When we arrived the restaurant was empty. We were told that whilst the Tapas on offer were unlimited, none of the 'specialities' were included in the offer as they are expensive to prepare. Also, that there was a surcharge of £2 for each of the fish tapas. We dined elsewhere

The service was slow, the tables were wobbly, they ran out of Sam Miguel by 8.30pm, we had to cancel food because it took over an hour to arrive. Also, the all you can eat buffet has so many surcharges it's not worth the effort. Avoid!
