Excellent lunch at Canard. Great menu options and the food was delicious. We had the shrimp cocktail lettuce wraps. A real twist on the typical dish, but so awesome. We both had the broccoli Caesar and it too was delicious. Such great flavors and not like your typical Caesar salad. Must try restaurant!

Everything was amazing! We sat outside in the covered patio and it was toasty warm. I actually had to take off my coat. Our server was delightful and very helpful with what quantities should be ordered for a party of 6, eating family style. Of course, we started with the steam burgers, which are a must. The tastiest, most satisfying little burger you will ever eat. The Parmesan fries are yummy too. Followed by the pear ceasar salad, oysters, mac-n-cheese, pork ribeye (out of this world), halibut, spicy chicken fingers and crispy broccoli. Everything mouth watering delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed every bite of every dish. Wonderful cocktails as well. Try the School for Ants, delicious version of a strawberry margarita, martini style. It was a perfect dining out experience. We highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dinner, including the crab bisque, the baked halibut, the rabbit with mustard sauce, and our usual favorite dessert, the hazelnut mille feuille. We initially were seated next to a table of six folks who were celebrating a birthday and were fairly loud. When we asked if we could have another table, the staff very kindly and swiftly got us to another table where we could enjoy our meal and actually hear each other without shouting. We love Canard and come often enough that we have favorite dishes that rotate throughout the year.

We’d finished about 1/4 of our salad when our food arrived. Our food wasn’t terribly warm when it arrived and was certainly cold when we bailed on our salad and started on dinner. Before we were done eating our server was stopping by asking if she could box up our food making us feel rushed. My last time in we sat at the bar and ate and the service, chatting with the bartender about our meal was amazing which prompted my return. Cocktails were amazing both times.

The restaurant was noisy and the tables close together (so not a romantic ambiance), but the food was amazing. Definitely try the crispy broccoli.

This was an anniversary dinner. Service was top notch. Our server was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive without being TOO attentive. We loved her. The restaurant was surprisingly noisy, but thankfully we were given a cozy table away from the main dining area. The food was a little different for us. My husband had the rabbit with mustard sauce, and although he’s enjoyed rabbit before, he thought the mustard sauce was overpowering the delicate taste of the rabbit. I had the butternut squash gnocchi and I savored those tender pillows of deliciousness. We both raved about our favorite part of the meal: the crispy broccoli side (with miso ricotta and pecan chili crunch.) FANTASTIC! Those flavors worked together beautifully. I had two non alcohol drinks. The caramelized pineapple shrub and soda was delightful and refreshing. I also enjoyed the mocktail “making fetch happen.” My husband had Earl Grey tea, and they kept the hot water coming. The experience was pleasant, but not particularly memorable, except for the waitress. She belongs at someplace like The Peak at Hudson Yards in NYC. They need to hang onto their fabulous staff!
