Can Can is a French brasserie and bakery in Cary Court Shopping Center. With seating for over 140 in the main dining room, an Art Nouveau inspired private dining room that seats up to 60 guests or over 100 for cocktails, and a full-service bakery and pastry kitchen supplying all of its breads, pastries, and desserts, the restaurant’s versatility should provide the area an array of options and events.

Can Can provides nonstop service morning, noon, and night and looks to give the local neighborhood, businesses, and Richmond visitors, a home away from home, an office away from the office, a place of refuge, or a stage for celebrating with friends.

    The meal was delicious, the ambiance energetic and fun, but what was truly outstanding was the service. From the server who was able to explain what leeks are in colorful and beguiling fashion and then offer excellent recommendations on the menu with detailed descriptions, to the gentleman who opened our 2013 Tokaj wine we brought with great skill, and without any crumbling of cork, to the special attention paid to the occasion we were celebrating: everything was Wonderful. I can't really recall when I have enjoyed an evening at a restaurant more. Thank you!

    The scallops were so good but should’ve gotten a side. The entree is $30 for 5 scallops which was a little disappointing.

    I don’t know what was going on with their kitchen today, but we waited 90 minutes for a Niçoise salad and an omelette. Our server said they had a “new system” today, which clearly wasn’t working. We were initially offered to have our bread basket comped (gee thanks for taking $5 off our bill), and eventually the manager offered to give us an additional glass of wine (which we didn’t really need), rather than offering to take the existing glass of wine off our bill. I’m not sure how good the food was, since we were starving after waiting so long and would have eaten cardboard. Really disappointing experience…

    Great atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing. The eggplant was delicious, the scallops a bit less. We didn’t like the leek side dish, undercooked leeks in cream- not quite su gratin. Overall lovely dinner.

    A favorite spot…never disappoints. The atmosphere is fabulous, the service impeccable and the food is just delectable. Can’t wait to go back!

    This place has some special memories for my daughter and I a d last night reminded us again why. It never disappoints and last night was no different. The leek dip, crispy oysters, salmon, and chamomile ice cream trio were favorites of the night. Thank you!
