We have dined here several times and unfortunately it is always very slow. We ordered the gazpacho shooters for an appetizer, which were very good. My husband had the burger, which was also pretty good. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken, and asked for the honey chipotle sauce on the side. When our meals came out after approx 45 minutes, the sauce was on the chicken. This turned out okay because it wasn't as spicy as I feared. The chicken had an okay taste, but parts of it didn't seem to be done. So I ate around the outsides and we took the rest home with us to microwave the leftovers . The mac and cheese side was just average. They had a good selection of beers on tap, but obtaining one was a very slow process. From what I could see there was only one server working the whole front side of the restaurant. I really wish this place could just be a tiny bit higher quality as the hotel is so nice and as a local, I would love both places to succeed long term.

The Campfire Grill was a wonderful place for our gathering of eight good friends. We were treated royally, everyone enjoyed their food, and we were allowed to have a long, relaxed lunch. Definitely a repeat!

Our daughter in law salmon was very uncooked when served, so much so that the waiter ordered another one , and was not going to charge us. My son asked for a rare steak, I asked for medium, both come in RARE. Not impressed what so ever. The waiter was very polite, attentive and understanding , specially we had a 2.5 year old girl with us and it took one hour to get our food. Conclusion = never going back!!!

So normally, I'm not one to complain, but this last time is the reason why I'll no longer be going to campfire. We were here for dinner to celebrate my birthday, and it was one of the worst meals I had In a while. Let's look at the positives. The poutine was good, hand cut fries are always a plus, and our waiter was extremely nice and understanding. That was about it for positives. The bad. My girlfriend ordered a chicken dish with rice and carrots. Chicken was dry and unseasoned. Rice was unseasoned as well as the carrots tasted like nothing. I ordered the ribeye, medium rare. This was far from it, as well as covered in gristle. The only tasteful thing on my plate was the mashed potatoes. Our waiter got us a brownie skillet to try and make up for it. But that was dry and hard. I've been here so many times and this has been the worst experience yet. Kudos to the waiter for understanding.

The waiter was so kind. The food was amazing. Everything came out super quick! Only negative comment I have is the price of my cocktail was very overpriced ($17) while delicious it’s outrageous for one drink.

I was excited to try the Hunters Chicken with pork belly & cognac that is listed on their online menu as well as presented to us in the restaurant on their menu. Unfortunately it was no longer offered. Back up choice Butternut squash ravioli with a sage butter sauce and kale potato hash. I liked the hash but felt the ravioli had a weird sweetness to it and was dry due as not enough sauce. I did not finish it. My husband had the Camp Fire Burger which was local beef and perfectly cooked. He had a side of Mac n cheese with local meirers cheese which was a little too milky for us & lacked cheese taste and texture.
