Thia was our first visit to Campanella's. The food was very good and the staff was attentive and the service very good.

It's been many years since I've had such a delightful meal from start to finish. Flavors of each dish were well orchestrated and not overdone one way or the other as many restaurants seem to do at times.

I preface this review by saying that Campanella has only been open 1 week and the opening were understandable, that said here's the review. Made a res for wife and I on the patio, only seats available, seated promptly, nice space, bit drafty and the overhead heaters don't work. Wife had a cocktail she really like, I had an Aperol Spritz which was ok, a little too much Aperol for me but drinkable. We ordered the garlic knots, butter beans, clam linguine and pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Garlic knots were great, tons of garlic great green dipping sauce, super yummy. Butter beans were good but spicy, be warned they don't shrink on the pepper flakes. I like the beans my wife was more meh. Wife had the gluten free linguine which she really liked, said it was very buttery and didn't taste gluten free. I had the pizza and was very disappointed. $22 for a cheese pizza, $5 each for the sausage and pepperoni, $32 total, better be a pretty good pizza, it wasn't. Crust wasn't that great, cheese was blah, both the toppings were sparsely applied, sauce was meh, not a good pizza. In this area we have great pizza, I can name 3 outstanding places to get good pie, this isn't one of them. Table next to us also ordered pizza before us and got their's after us. Overheard the manager apologizing to them and letting them know that the kitchen was backed up at the pizza oven due to the cheese not melting correctly. New restaurants have growing pains, pizza restaurant in our town sucked for over a year but finally got their act together and now it's great, hope this happens here.

They were SLAMMED because a review had just come out. When we arrived we were supposed to have an inside table. Luckily I brought a wrap because they put us outside at a hightop table. My husband was not happy with that so we were able to move to a regular outside table. Everyone was very nice. Their iced tea was DELICIOUS. We ordered meatballs (which I kinda didn't want to do because it had raisins and pistachios in it and that just sounded weird to me) and the little gem salad and their special chicken parm pizza. Meatballs were OUTSTANDING. 5 stars. WIsh it came with a little bit of sauce but they were so moist, it almost didn't need it. It did come with ricotta - but next time I will ask if they can put a bit of sauce on those meatballs. We were supposed to get the little gem first but actually, it came last. The kitchen was fast - things came out quickly all around us - but for some reason, they just couldn't get us that salad. We then had the pizza. I thought it was delicious. The crust was just ok (sorry but spoiled with pizza leah) but the sauce, cheese and chicken and basil - just delicious. Finally that salad showed up. Beautiful lettuce and radish garnish. My husband loved it. For me the salad dressing was a bit kind of spicy - i didn't love it. But overall, the server was very good, the kitchen is still working out the kinks, the food is very good and it's a cute spot. I would definitely go back. I would want to try the eggplant parm. FYI - Parking is difficult - we parked across the street on a side street. I wish them a great run.

Reservation in the dining room and we were sat promptly. Part of our group was a few minutes late due to having trouble finding parking. Our order was taken promptly and cocktails and appetizers were delivered timely - we loved the arancini. You will need 2+ orders of arancini - they are delicious and one of our groups favorite things on the menu. We also shared an order of the garlic knots-3 to an order. The garlic-lover in the group LOVED these , especially with the green sauce (basil/ranch?). We ordered a bottle of wine - not a huge list, but we understand this was very early in their opening, so opportunities to add more in the future. We ordered everything from the menu to share so they came out as they were ready and different people had their favorite items in the meal - an eggplant parmesan fan thought that was a really well made dish, another like the mild heat and flavors in the bucatini pasta. Everyone agreed the meatballs were a must-have. Great flavor and texture with plenty of sauce. For dessert, the rainbow cookies were a nostalgic favorite and the chocolate budino was very chocolatty. We wished they had an espresso machine to make a non-alcoholic affogato, but perhaps that's just a matter of time. Overall - we would highly recommend this restaurant and are planning to go back - the pizza we had (cheese + pepperoni) was delicious - with the dough/crust toasted to just before blistering (chef's kiss) and would be the best take-home pizza if it were on they way home-alas.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Campanella. The food was excellent. Mac and Peas, Nonna’s Meatballs and Garlic Knots were all delicious to share as starters. Everything was seasoned really well, so as not to overwhelm the ingredients. The Chicken Parm Pizza was very good, they managed to capture the taste of the classic dish without it being too heavy. The cheesecake was the highlight of the dessert menu for us. The service was excellent—thoughtful and attentive beyond the food service. For instance offering purse hooks to keep our bags off of the floor. They were quite busy, I would recommend a reservation as the word is definitely getting out about this new gem.

This is a new place so they are of course figuring things out. Our server knew what she was doing, she’s very good. The place has a lot of promise as long as they learn along the way and respect and listen to customer feedback. Prices are pretty high so they should be ready for high expectations.

Dining experience was excellent. From craft cocktails expertly made to unique food choices, this restaurant is here to stay. Finding a place to park is a challenge but walking a block or two is well worth it. Welcome, Campanella to the neighborhood!!

A most welcome addition to Sebastopol. Great flavors and they did an amazing job transforming the dining room. Proper Italian American “east coast” food with the great produce of our region. Highlights were: tomato/tonnato salad, eggplant parm, trout and shrimp scampi. Also got the chicken parm pizza to go. Can’t wait to go back.
