Love this place… one of my favorites in Charleston. So beautiful and great ambiance. Drinks and snacks are delicious too.

They say “most instagrammable restaurant” for a reason. The place is absolutely gorgeous and really that’s what you need to go into it thinking. We came for a my 6 year old birthday party with a few family members (so 1 child, 3 adults) and spent $300 on the whole event (and none of us had champagne). Tea sandwich selection is okay, but the chicken salad croissants were stale and none of it seemed very fresh, so I honestly would have preferred the children’s selection of food. Dessert course was by far the best food we received. Tea selection is fun, but we had to ask for waters halfway through our service which I thought was odd. Our server was ultra kind and brought the 6 year old out a tiara to decorate and a few extra chicken salad croissants when she realized our party wasn’t into some of the items on the tea service tray. (I wish you could preview these on the menu before ordering). Overall the 6 year old was thrilled but the adults were less than. Go for the ambiance, but maybe don’t expect much for the food.

What a beautiful venue!! The decor is beautiful and it makes you feel as if you have stepped into a different time.

The food was terrible. I have done many high tea services and this was so cheap. The food was stale, old, and flavorless. I can’t believe they charge so much money for such little food. You can tell it was sitting out for awhile. Although the food was awful, the service was amazing. I loved my server and the stuff. The venue was also beautiful!

We treated our granddaughter and her mom to afternoon tea with Santa. It was our granddaughter’s 9th birthday. It was a wonderful experience she will never forget!

We did the high tea service that included a glass of champagne! Definitely a special and unique experience that you can do with your daughter and mother or girlfriends! Camellias has stunning decor, great place for pictures and fun. Under the umbrella of the fabulous Bennett Hotel.

Tea at Camellia’s was the best and such a fun vibe. I booked for my husband and I during a family vacation trip and we will be making it an annual visit when in Charleston. We enjoyed the Crown Tea with bubbly and the Pink Tea (which is so delicious) and came with the savory courses first and finished with the desserts. Aimee and Tyler were very attentive while tending to us. The space is intimate so it was relatively quiet until a bachelorette group of 8 came in, but it didn’t really dim the experience - still a very pleasant experience.

The Christmas in July tea was fantastic!! The food was delicious and the presentation was fantastic!! Adorable decorations, and the the staff was amazing!! Santa was perfect!! Thanks for a fun afternoon!!
