A French-Japanese bistro in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles.

Reservations are always recommended, but we are often able to accommodate walk-ins as well.

While we love dogs, we can only accept trained service animals (not emotional support animals) both in our dining room as well as on our outdoor patio. We appreciate your understanding.

Beautiful room, great service and food is excellent. Recommend the Parker Rolls, Chicken, Bolognese and especially the Croque Madam!

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at this restaurant. Our reservation was at 7:45. We arrived on time and were seated on time as well. After serving us our bread and salad, they completely forgot about us. The 2 tables to either sides of us, one with 6 guests and the other with 4 were seated after us. They were served and almost finished with their meals until the manager remembered we had been waiting for a long time. She came to our table and apologized, but when we asked why was there such a delay she walked away. The second or third time she came by our table and served us a complimentary mushroom appetizer which we had not ordered. She still did not have an answer as to why we had been ignored. The last time she brought us our take out for which we had placed an order at the beginning of our dinner. And even though they offered us free desserts, we left hungry and disappointed at around 9:30! I think it is imperative for businesses to realize that most of us are not there to receive free anything. It is rather insulting. Too bad we will never return to this place, since I truly wanted to try a few other dishes on our next visit.

Absolutely delicious top to bottom. Staff was incredibly informative and friendly, even gifting us dishes for our friendiversary. Flavors, textures and presentation on point. Interior has light NYC vibes in a great way.

Wonderful meal. Decibel Martini and Army Navy cocktail were both delicious. Black sesame Parker house rolls with butter and house cured ikura were so good! Abalone and shrimp pot pie was very good, and Koji-roasted chicken was juicy and wonderful. Very attentive service.

Service was lackluster. Was ignored for 10 mins before offered water or hand towels (when others seated after us were promptly attended to). Waitress was nice but distracted and ready to go home. For a big anniversary, just didn’t feel special enough for a milestone event. Would maybe come back to try the burger at the bar, but not for a special occasion.

The food was amazing and we can’t wait to go back to try other menu items. The service was outstanding. The kitchen was a little backed up so we’re hoping they get that worked out before our next visit.

Whole peppercorns overwhelmed tuna Had a reservation and you had to sit us at the bar - which wasn’t great Enjoyed the energy Congrats on many details I’ll try food again
