Lovely restaurant and our first time - but we will not have the special lunch menu because it was poor value. The food was fine but the starters - 2 salads in small bowls - were good but not great and the main courses - sea bass and a pastry with bacon etc- were not substantial portions, very minimal. We had the Affogato and 2 beers but to pay £55 and not feel full is disappointing. Alex, I met you in Snappy Snaps, and nearly said this to you then. Are these comments fair? Please get back to me, I’d like to know how you respond. We want you to succeed and will come again but would only choose from the A La Carte menu. Please increase portion size for lunch because if that is a guest’s first experience they will not return - but we will come again! Paul

We went for lunch midweek so it was a quiet service. The staff were very attentive without being imposing and the food was excellent quality - the lightness of the pasta was a rareity. There are only a limited number of choices available on the menu but what they serve is really well prepared.

Lovely Italian restaurant with delicious fresh cooked food, great wines and superb service. Nice decor and cosy feel. Recommended.
