Very good casual nite out at short notice. Great food delivered quickly. Music was as so common these days at a volume level more for the staff enjoyment and not just in the background to facilitate good conversation.

Great food, if you love mexican food this is the restaurant to go to! amazing cocktails, All the staff are really friendly. We sat outside and really enjoyed it. We will be back.

We had a fantastic dinner on Wednesday night to celebrate a birthday and our experience was outstanding. The staff were exceptional, taking great care of our group of nine (first visit) from the moment we booked the table until the end of the evening. Their professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. A special touch was the birthday girl being given a sombrero to wear, which added a fun and festive element to the night. It made the celebration even more memorable!

For our regular monthly date night, where we take turns choosing a new place, I booked us and another couple in for August 2024 for a muchly anticipated Tex Mex face stuffing. We all have hearing issues, so requested we sit somewhere quiet. The wonderful host arranged to have the music speaker turned down that was near us outside, which was perfect! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed: Dos Equis, Diablo Ginger Beer, Jalapeño Poppers, Beef Taquitos, Sour Cream, Side Fries, Baja Fish Tacos, Double Enchilada, Salsa Roja, Brouhaha Sour. Couldn't fit in desert and took left overs home! Great host who happily engaged in our banter, lovely team that served us who also didn't come bug us unnecessarily. Our friends enjoyed their giant meals and wonderful drinks as well. We will happily go back here to try more! Thank you :D

The service at California Native is outstanding. Friendly and with a can do attitude which makes it all a lovely experience. The restaurant decor is very groovy and chill. Meals were on the small side unfortunately.

Good food, tacos were awesome. We were a big group and everyone was happy. We were by far the last to leave on a weeknight but they were great with us staying back to chat!

BEST VEGAN FAJITAS IVE EVER HAD!!! Amazing food, great portion sizes, great prices. Loved the restaurant from start to finish, it has a cosy, rustic setting with lovely music. Can’t wait to come back!!

I recently dined here and wanted to share some feedback. While I appreciate the timely service and enjoyed the drinks, I felt that the food could use some improvement to better capture the flavours of Mexican cuisine. Specifically, the guacamole and salsa lacked the vibrant, fresh taste I was expecting and it seemed as if it was not made in house. Additionally the chicken on my nachos was quite dry and I found myself relying on the aioli that came with the Jalapeño poppers to add flavour. I understand it may have been a busy night, and some challenges can occur from time to time. It also can be possible I didn’t order the best dishes to show case the culinary strength. However, based on my experience I wouldn’t be able to recommend the food to others, although the margaritas were excellent. I hope you find this feedback helpful, it’s definitely not an attack but given for potential improvement's
