We wound up getting the 2 3oz Steak Medallions & Shrimp entrees. Came with a loaded baked potato, and a large salad w/fresh baked croissant. Better steak than we've had at overpriced steak joints. Shrimp was delish. Great service, great price, great value. Highly recommend!

We have always had great experiences at California Dreaming but this visit was exceptional. We were greeted (by name) at the door and by the manager as well. Our server, Sara, was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The entire meal for the family was excellent. This will always be our favorite resturant.

Daughter-in-law’s choice for her birthday dinner. Arrived an hour before our reservation, they were busy, but were promptly seated. Balloons were delivered after we were seated. and after dinner she was given a cupcake with delectable strawberry frosting with a small dollop of strawberry preserves. However, the best part was she received a birthday card that the staff had signed. That personal touch made an impression on all of us. While she appreciated the included gift card, the card was what impressed her (us) the most.

Perhaps they overbooked for Mother’s Day, they were more than an hour behind in seating and the food was awful. Hopeful this was a one off or we won’t be back.

We had a 1pm reservation when we arrived we were told they were behind and would be a 45 minute wait and would call my phone. At 2:30p I called and basically they forget to reach out and seat us. No apologies at all. Can’t say we will return here. Knowing this was going to be a busy day restaurant should have be prepared and no reservation should have had to wait that amount of time.

We had trsevationins at 12:45 and did not get seated until 2:00. Other than the wait, the food and service was great!

We went on Mother’s Day so it was very busy making service slow and quality of food seemed rushed. It’s understandable since it’s normally very good all the way around but they were overwhelmed for sure.

We were seated at 12:45 for a 12p reservation. We spent an extra $25 on appetizers bc my kids were starving and we were warned by our waiter it would be a long wait for food. By the time our food arrived, we were full of bread, chips and drink and kids were melting down (almost 2pm!). The ambience wasn't great either, as there were dozens of unhappy guests also waiting for their reservations. Not sure where the schedule went sideways, but management should not have taken any walk ins due to so many reservations. We will not try this place again for special occasions.
