A comfortable room where fine spirits are drank, laughs are had, and stories are told. A public house for travelers and locals alike. Cold beer, classic cocktails, and familiar faces are just the start of it.

We strive to offer Old Town Bluffton, SC a timeless neighborhood watering hole just a couple blocks from the bluff. Paired with a chef driven menu of southern plates, thoughtful service and comforting lowcountry classic food.

After a swell day on the river or a rough one at work, bring a friend or come alone. Whatever you do... pull up a stool and stay awhile.

Our server, Linda, was very accommodating, funny, and handled everything with ease. The food was exactly as ordered and the flavors and freshness was amazing.

Always a great time when Muddy Creek is playing. Wait service could be better, We know it busy but to not bus tables after food is finished is not great.

Fun place, great tavern style food! This was our first visit, definitely not our last. Our waiter Michael was personable, friendly and hilarious! His recommendations were spot on! The dill chicken sandwich was amazing- high praise from someone who shies away from fried food. The Tavern potatoes were to die for! Can’t wait to go back.

This was not a good experience. I ordered a 14 OZ. ribeye and it was a frozen steak and it was not 14 OZ. The mac and cheese was really not any batter than a boxed mix. My wife ordered crab stuffed flounder ad hers was not good either. It was lukewarm and did not taste all that good. The wheat beer was good and her drink was also good. The waitress never came back to see if we wanted another drink. It was not busy at all and there was no reason for the bad service. I only left 15 % and the bill was still $105 for 2 meals and 2 drinks. I am local and won't be back. Just a tourist trap, bad food, bad service. No effort on the part of the employees here. The menu is well written but what you get is not what they describe. Avoid.

They need to make the waiters and runners keep the patio doors shut when they have a live band and it’s hot and humid outside. It was way too hot and humid inside. Our waiter would close the back door and the outside staff would prop it back open.

This is our second time dining here. Love that we can reserve on OpenTable as seating is limited. We were served quickly after being seated and had no trouble finding something we each were happy with. The shrimp burger was a nice surprise- very tasty. The potatoes were quite “crispy”…I guess a bit inconsistent. We enjoyed the beer, meal and server. Worth a try!!!

Great food and vibe in Old Town Bluffton. Enjoyed hearing live music on their patio too. Fun night!
