We're open daily and overlook the fabulous Maxwell Beach, which along with the tropical gardens at Bougainvillea Barbados, inspires our comfy, beach-chic look.

Nice sitting along beach, however the food was too expensive for the size of the portions! (3 spare ribs @ 80 Bbd) Seafood risotto was also small.

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet during the week we stayed at Bougainvillea Resort. The staff at Calabash Bistro were all very welcoming and accommodating. They had a good variety of food for breakfast including fresh fruit, omelettes and pancakes of different type throughout the week. Bacon was not in the buffet every day but they happily cooked some up for us to enjoy and coconut pancakes were delicious. Also had dinner a couple of nights and overall the food was good. Had one dinner, snapper which was the catch of the day, that was mediocre but the rest were very good.

We dined for breakfast, brunch at weekend & dinner in evening plus called in for desserts only one evening. Every time the food was delicious, service impeccable and ambience superb with sea views on doorstep.

The food and service were great. It was a little pricey, and there was a lot of activity on the grounds (maintenance/gardening) otherwise, we enjoyed our meal.

Calabash was wonderfully! Location next to the beach, there was live music during dinner. The food and service was excellent, we were so pleased. It was so nice we went back a second time. Our first visit was a Monday evening when we first arrived so it was quiet and relaxing, little busier later in the week but still very enjoyable and again food and service was perfect. Highly recommended and we will return again on our next trip. 🏖️😊🥂

Portion size of the avocado toast was definitely too small for a brunch meal was more suited to be an appetizer. Had to order another meal to be contented. When I do return even though The meal itself was tasty I will not be reordering
