Childhood friends Alessandro Ercoli, Gianpietro Silardi, and Lino Savoia opened this typical Italian restaurant back in 1990. Continuing the adventure now with Alessandro are Riccardo Menichetti from Tuscany, a long-time friend with a strong passion for food and cooking, and Teri Ercoli (Alex's wife). Caffe’ Delfini has become synonymous with romance. As soon as you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that transports you to the cobblestone streets of Rome, and soft music fills the air, adding to the intimate ambiance that permeates the restaurant. The menu is a culinary journey through Italy with dishes that are prepared using only the freshest and finest ingredients. Good pasta, Branzino very expensive and half the size of a normal portion of this fish. Prices up quite a bit since last visit. Nice place been there for 30 years and quiet and can talk there. Alex one of the owners excellent Good service

A lovely spot for a delicious dinner. Homemade spaghetti and meatballs, beet and spinach salad, grilled calamari all outstanding. Veal good but a little tough. So appreciated the extra kind valet, waitress, and owner’s attention and help and tastes of wine.

The restaurant charges you extra for using a credit card. Haven’t seen that before, very petty. If you can’t afford the credit card fees then charge and extra $.50 for each dish.

Dear Matthew, thank you for your feedback and the opportunity to explain in detail. Our restaurant did not want to increase prices even if our ingredients went up a lot considering that most of them are imported from Italy and are the best quality in the market. We know inflation is hitting everyone, but we decided to stop the increase proportionally to every single dish and apply a tiny % when payments are done using cards. On the contrary, we do not apply any other fees, such as the one you mentioned of $0.5 for each dish. This is simply not true and we never did that in the past. We hope you liked our food/service/ambiance and we will be happy to see you again and show you the passion and commitment we have to provide our customers with the best possible experience and quality of food.

Felt like i was in italy! Was a very enjoyable dinner we stayed for about 3 hrs. Owner was very friendly and checked on us often. Everything we ordered was super tasty!Great location too. I am excited to go back.
