The head waiter was very rude and demanding, the others were kind. I was given quite dirty plates and utensils that I had to ask to change. The sandwiches were also quite stale.

A little disappointed with the service this time round! We’ve been before back in December and had a very pleasant visit. Saturday 22nd June we didn’t experience great service at all. We waited about an hour for our food, a larger table came in after us and they had their food and was gone by the time our food finally came! A member of our party ordered starters and this didn’t even arrive, it wasn’t until he said he would like to cancel that order that the waiter said it’s just coming and he wouldn’t be charged for this item. We were also offered a drink on the house which 2 members accepted but didn’t finish as the beer didn’t taste like the beer they asked for. The waiters were very polite but waiting an hour for food was very disappointing.

It was an overall good experience but the service in terms of waiting staff attention was quite slow. Our meal was nice though and the rose and raspberry mousse cake was delicious. (Note we went to the Northumberland Avenue branch rather than Whitehall).

Our food was cold. The chips were cold. The chair butter was cold. This might be due to the fact there were builders with air windows open.

Afternoon Tea was not the best. Some of the items were fine but sandwich filling sparse and although the fruit scone was nice the plain one was hard. Not a lot of cream to share between two. Service was very friendly and attentive. Wouldn't go there again for Afrernoon Tea.

Had afternoon tea with Prosecco here, the service was excellent and the staff were attentive and friendly. Our tea was served quickly and everything was fresh and very tasty, they even replenished the pots of tea ! Would certainly recommend

Great place for an early business breakfast. Nice menu, attentive staff and lovely interiors! Highly recommended.

Went for afternoon tea with my daughters. The staff were lovely, but a bit stressed. Our hot drinks arrived, but not the sandwiches/scones/cakes, but after pointing out that we really wanted our drinks with the food, we were offered more drinks on the house. Food was ok, but didn't taste fresh and the bread was a bit stale. It was ok, but wouldn't rush back.

Service was overall good but we had afternoon tea for 2 at £65 for thought it was expensive for the quality of the food Firstly the sandwiches on normal white sliced bread were a bit boring and not the best tasting then the scones were plain and a bit stale, the only thing which was good was the top plate of cakes and the tea it self was also good
