Waiting staff not very attentive p, we stood for over 5 minutes to be seated (& we had a reservation). Waiting staff simply walked past us without even acknowledging us as a matter of courtesy. One staff member looked like he definitely wasn’t happy to be at work which as customers made us a little uneasy. We were sat next to blocked up windows as alterations being completed outside despite free tables available in area were we could have at least had some window lighting. Not as nice as our previous visit.

Food good. Cakes very good. Location easy to find. Staff were ok, a little chaotic. We were sat near the toilets which was a bit off putting as there were only 2 and queue built up slightly from time to time.

We were sat in a boiling hot room with no window for my friends 40th. When ordering there were things not available from the main menu and pudding there were only a choice of a couple of cakes even though there are tonnes in the menu!

Lovely time there, we had a trainee serving us and although he had to check with his supervisor a few times, he was lovely. His supervisor at the time was really good as well, anticipating when he needed help and would swoop in at the right time to answer our questions. :)

Overall was very pleasant afternoon tea, although the staff were polite was given a menu & asked by three different staff on arrival our what we required to eat & drink after already explaining we has pre ordered an afternoon tea with prosecco

Me and my hubby went there it was a present to me for our 19 anniversary and it was great and the staff was real good

Afternoon tea was around £75 for 2 and was quite disappointed. Sandwiches were bland , no cheese, no ham. Mostly chicken mush. Waiter was a whole mood , and seemed like he wasn’t in the mood to even be there!

The new Stratford restaurant was very crowded (understandably it was a Saturday) but it is a small place! We were disappointed with the sandwich selection, plus they didn’t ask if we had any allergies and my sister is allergic to eggs. I had to check the sandwiches first. We were a big group and staff were very helpful in getting our table organised. Overall, it was good but I’ve heard such excellent reviews about Cafe Concerto’s afternoon tea but unfortunately we found it a little underwhelming!
