Service a bit slow - we had to look for a waiter a couple of times. One thing I was a bit disappointed by: I ordered a Salmon Nicoise, and the ingredients were listed. When it came, it looked good, and there were a few breadsticks on the plate. I realised as I got to near the end of my meal that there were no new potatoes in the dish (one of the listed ingredients), and realised then that the breadsticks had been put in as a substitute. It would have been good to tell me when I ordered that there were no new potatoes and did I mind, or would I prefer to order something else. I felt a bit hoodwinked, as new potatoes are one of the ingredients of a Nicoise dish.

Ist time at Piccadilly branch for my friend, and her last. I visit other CCs all the time. Waiter took order then disappeared. After 20+ minutes I asked another waiter for our drinks and he shrugged. I found a ? manager. He said our order wasn't on the system, apologised, took it again and said our drinks would be free. Food and drinks fine as usual but an hour after we entered. 1st waiter came in from the street. We paid incl service as we are polite and the food was good but the way the 1st waiter neglected to put our order in and the 2nd one ignored us was inexcusable. I won't use that branch again and my friend was surprised I had recommended CC to her.

I was disappointed that I had to pay extra for another tea pot. The bread in the sandwiches didn't seem very tresh

Busy lunchtime restaurant. We met for coffee and cake, the staff didn't ask our booking name and placed us a cramped table in the corner. We had to go and find waiting staff several times as we had no attention at the table. The cake was delicious tho!

After reading some questionable reviews I was a little concerned about visiting as we had already redeemed our voucher to use here however it was brilliant, felt very welcomed and looked after by the staff. The afternoon tea was excellent. Our only issue was it took over an hour for us to receive the afternoon tea, yet everyone else around us was served quickly and had their food/eaten/paid and then left before we had ours. So we kind of felt like because we used a voucher we weren’t as important as everyone else however the afternoon tea was really good and I would come here again for something else.

A lovely setting and feels like a little bit if Paris in London. It is expensive however, and they add 12.5% service charge as standard. I don’t agree with that i think we should be allowed to tip dependent on service and unfortunately I found service a bit slow but they were perfectly pleasant. Would recommend and go again.
