Caffè Concerto’s 4,000 sq ft restaurant is set across three floors in Covent Garden. Catering to 180 covers Caffè Concerto offers an extensive menu of Italian classics and afternoon teas. The menu also includes sharing towers such as the Cicchetti Tower, which can be enjoyed between two guests from the selection of pasta, risottos and gnocchi. This draws on an Italian tradition of sharing Cicchetti plates, which are small plates of food served in “bacari” bars. Guests can also choose to share afternoon tea towers, featuring a selection of luxury sandwiches, cakes and treats all with teas from their world selection and a glass of prosecco.

Mediocre experience. For an excellent afternoon tea experience, there are many other options that are higher quality than this one. I think it’s worth posting the higher price for the better experience.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING ! First time visiting this particular location, Covent Garden , Long Acre - if only I had heeded their bad reviews !, i had booked afternoon tea for a birthday treat. Right from the start the staff appeared irritated when they seated us. It then took over 15 minutes for a waiter to come to us. When the afternoon tea finally arrived, another disappointment, presentation was poor, the pot of tea was very small. Throughout, the waiter never once came to see if everything was ok and seemed to be avoiding us, The final insult was the service charge had been added to the bill. I had already decided that I wouldn’t be tipping this waiter, something I’ve never done before, however I only noticed this after I’d paid it. I didn’t complain, or ask to speak with a manager, I really felt it would have been a waste of time and would only have upset me more. I would never visit Caffé Concerto, Covent Garden, Long Acre ever again.

The staff are rude and unprofessional I was given half a macaron it was missing the bottom I booked a afternoon tea with no fish but it still came with fish needs more tea you only get one pot per person and the pots are tiny quite disappointed

Restaurant looked nice. Upon arrival took a few mins to find my reservation. Was seated and waiter came straight over before having a chance to look at menu. Then didn't get anyone's attention for 10 mins. Not all food/drink arrived at same time. We had afternoon tea. Sandwiches the bread was hard so sat there for a while. The Scones were overcooked, hard and inedible. The cream was too runny. The cakes was not overly nice and had better elsewhere. Then waited 15/20 mins once finished to try and pay. Explained about poor service and food. Other tables around me agreed when we spoke to the waiter.

Friendly helpful staff Lovely food, glad we got there earlier than our booked time as was a bit of a wait for our food and had a show booked. Lovely food ! Enjoyed it for a one off experience

I wouldn't recommend Caffé Concerto - Covent Garden. Despite booking via OpenTable, our reservation was not honored, and the staff were unaccommodating. We were overcharged for an undelivered drink, and the manager’s handling of the situation was unreasonable and dishonest. Not a place I would recommend.

I booked for my daughter and I to have breakfast here. When we arrived I asked for a gluten free menu- there wasn’t one and I was told they couldn’t do me anything gluten free for breakfast. The staff were most unhelpful and not concerned at all. We left and went to the Ivy who were most helpful and accommodating . Very poor customer service and in the world we now live in where dietary restrictions as more common they should have options. I have coeliac disease so an allergy not a preference.

This was not the luxurious experience I expected. The staff ignored us. The tea pots were stained metal ones. The crockery is old and scratched and worn out. The tea was a tea bag of tetly tea. Nothing made this the experience I was lead to believe it would be.

We were sat next to the kitchen and staff behaved very loudly there throwing the dishes around. There was some horrible music played and the food is very average. It is not an elegant place it’s aspiring to be.
