Great food, great service, great place to catch up with friends. Maybe acoustics a bit "hard" so seems noisy.

Delicious food, excellent service and good atmosphere. The prices are reasonable until they add on a 12.5% service charge which I think is a bit high for brunch. Tipping is very much in the news right now and I believe it should be for the customer to decide how much to tip, as well as knowing it does actually go to the staff. In an ideal world, I think the staff should be paid a wage that doesn’t rely on tipping at all and the prices on the menu should allow for this. It seems odd to me that workers in some industries have to rely on tips whereas most don’t; shop assistants being just one example. Tipping might be motivational but I feel it is also slightly degrading. However, this a general comment and I still that Cafe AB is brilliant!

Wonderful breakfast the best stacked pancakes I have ever had. Husband had full breakfast and said was great. Highly recommend this cafe.

Overall, it is a lovely venue and we were meeting friends we've not seen for ages. It was quiet and welcoming but so much of the brunch and main menu was unavailable. We had the choice of 3 egg dishes (we cannot eat eggs), caesar salad or fish and chips or sunday dinner. We ended up having tea and cake which totalled £46 for the 4 of us. A bit gutted - it is usually so much better.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent except fries were a little past their best. I had Marie rose open sandwich and partner had chicken Caesar. Both were perfect. I had a G&T and partner had a Merlot. Also both perfect. We’ll be back again to be sure.

We were a table of 4 and all the food was nicely presented and served with professionalism. Not the first visit or the last.
