Plus qu'un restaurant, le Cafe Spice Namaste est une institution culinaire. Il s'agit d'un célèbre restaurant indien, sorte de monument gastronomique appartenant à Cyrus et Pervin Todiwala. Il se trouve à quelques pas de la Tour de Londres. Depuis plus de dix-sept ans, il accueille des personnes du monde entier qui viennent profiter de la cuisine délicieusement originale du chef Cyrus ainsi que de l'aimable et chaleureux service de ce petit local au cœur de la ville historique de Londres. Sa riche carte propose des plats traditionnels de Goa, d'Inde du Nord, de Hyderabad et du Cachemire rehaussés d'une touche contemporaine, remarquable selon certains. COMING TO CAFÉ SPICE NAMASTÉ FROM GALLIONS REACH DLR STATION As you exit the station, turn left at Co-Op walk up to the traffic lights turn right on to Gallions Road. Turn left on to Wallis Walk and right on to Shackleton Way then immediate right towards car park on to Hudson Way. You will see a footbridge at the front. We are exactly across the bridge. The walk should take approximately 4-5 minutes. The Elizabeth Line is now open, making West London feel a lot closer to the Royal Docks. Getting off at Custom House and taking the DLR to Gallions Reach can take between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on where you board. What a lovely place to come to eat, food was great, service excellent with a very warming family feel. Location was great too and you are just under where the planes come in to land, strangely you couldnt hear them at all until you saw one come past you head. Definately coming back again to try the dishes I didnt get to try because I was so stuffed I could hardly move after. Well done guys for creating such a good place to eat excellent food for whatever occasion. Nick

Quality food, with huge authentic flavours from an awarding chef. If you are looking for something slightly different in a welcoming atmosphere, where the food is served at an elevated level but reasonably priced - this is for you. Mr T was in the restaurant and talking to his customers as was Mrs T , so they are hands on not just a name above the door. It is a new venue but not far out of London and very well worth the trip.

Amazing food. So flavoursome and tasty. The pork vindaloo is to die for. This in not your normal 'Indian' it is so so much better. Staff were nice, friendly and attentive. I can't wait to return

This is the best restaurant and London, and an absolute must-visit for anybody who enjoys food or new cultural experiences. I learn something new every time I go. Although I miss the ostrich bhuna of bygone years, there is so much choice on the menu that I spend a while just enjoying the experience of choosing. This time, I particularly enjoyed the beetroot chaat and the paneer chaat (the latter from the seasonal menu), and the raspberry and sorrel sorbet. The hospitality staff even brought out a cake for my boyfriend's birthday - without being asked - with a beautiful sparkler. This was a lovely addition to an already 10/10 meal and experience. Chef Todiwala has set up a kitchen where the food is absolutely excellent, it feels very modern with hybrid cuisine, and the atmosphere is just lovely. I could not recommend this restaurant enough, and I for one really enjoy travelling on the DLR and the clean air around the docks.

Not our first or second or…. every visit has been fantastic. Great service, food always beyond expectations and nicely out of that ‘over the top’ busy city environment. Highly recommend the tasting menu, with a couple of preferences added.

It was our first time at Cafe Spice, we encountered a warm welcome as we entered the restaurant and the service from start to finish was amazing. We had high hopes for some great food and me and my colleagues were not disappointed the food was wonderful. One of the best overall dining experiences we have had. Thank you to the Cafe Spice team, we will be back!

The food was exquisite, absolutely delicious. A creative twist on traditional dishes and new creations were incredible. Lovely atmosphere. Wonderful hosts, we really felt looked after. The setting, by the water is beautiful.

This is a great restaurant. Amazing cuisine, lovely staff and a quirky location. Really urge people to go - it is easy to get to and a wonderful experience.
